Hello everyone !

A friend and me are starting alb on release, and we plan to run a nice duo.

After Long consideration we are going to stick with Sorc/Cleric.
You get into PVE Groups, can Level easy as a duo and Sorc Cleric is also very strong Grp /Duo in PVP.

Now for the question:

Do you have any other nice suggestions ?

I think Minstrel / Infi is also a nice Team, but will have some Problems finding PVE Groups.
Sorc/Cabi also sounds pretty strong....

anything else?

If you are mostly into duo i would go for Sorc+Cab, they have very strong utility and can tear down targets very easy and fast with that red debuff.
If you are mostly to run with groups then Sorc+Cleric is better.

I wouldn't make a Minstrel - Scout / infil duo for start since the gearing and gold farm will be a living nightmare.
May consider these chars as your backup fun duo.

Out of the cookiecutter combo of Cleric + Sorc.

For Pve:

Friar + Necro

For Rvr but can do well lvling up (i think you will need somekind of speed to not be farmed)

Friar + Sorc
Friar + Minstrel

Sorc/Cab is probably the best rvr duo in the game. The leveling is pretty easy with focus pull too. Not the best pve duo, but very good. Can invite clerics along the way to heal the pet and you can motor down ridiculous amounts of reds at a time

Would be great if pets didn't get resisted all the time.

Although I can't comment on theurgists specifically

Two minstrels.

1. Speed to find people.
2. Stealth to hide
3. Stun.
4. mez and demez for each other.
5. variety of pets.
6. 2 sos

Never solo. Always gank. Never fight if you don't have to.

Would be really annoying.

Players can greatly contribute to a server if you let them.

Uthgard, still the best server. Thanks, Devs.

It's arguably more fun, at least for us. There is 0 downtime because he's power taping down targets and then transferring that power to me. I'll throw a couple pets up on a yellow/orange, and repeat til I'm out of power. He'll finish them off by the time my pets die, and we're back to pulling again. Nec + Cleric is on par, I'm sure.

Since I haven't seen it listed, my brother and I have been leveling quite well duoing Paladin/Reaver. Works solid as a duo and welcome in groups.

I don't think we would have run it as a duo on live though.

That's a very decent duo tbh. But since the lack of buffs and constant cost of buff pots, Paladin - Friar would be a lot better imo, buffs, heals, nice dmg output from Friar would make the xp process and farm capabilities easier.
Plus on that duo is that both classes are a must for Dragon Raids.
