I'm getting this error trying to load the game. Since it doesn't count as a "bug", I figured next best thing is to ask here.

Follow all the steps in the "Getting started" guide, especially that at page 4

This has been happening to me as well since the update where you hit the 'play' button on the webpage. Prior to this update, I had no problems whatsoever.

It seems to take a few attempts to get in to the game now.

Since the previous poster mentioned some steps in the Getting Started, I re-downloaded the programs in step 4 to be told that I already have these installed.

Edit: I see a mention of attempting to disable antivirus. This is not a solution and even if it would work, why did this issue not come up before this patch?

In order to implement the frameless/borderless option I had to change the way the launcher loads the DAoC game process.

I have an rough guess on why you might be seeing this issue, so I'll try changing some things and see if it makes anything better.

Can someone help me with my injection error? I can't load the game. It wont let me download 4.6 because I have a newer version. I'm running windows 10. I downloaded the C script.

..Reinstalling the Launcher
..Temporarily disabling any kind of Anti-Virus software you have on your system
..Make sure you have the Visual Studio Runtime 2015 for x86 (this is important!) installed

what am i supposed to do with this when i have it downloaded?

I've done everything except for understanding what to do with that last item. is there anyone who i could chat with live who could help me?

you can download it here > https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/download/details.aspx?id=48145, just choose run or doubleclick the .exe when downloaded
it just installs on your system, no further knowledge needed

Whatever you did worked. I haven't seen the error since at all. I tried closing and opening the client multiple times without fail.
