Is it worth doing autotrain on the scout? are the extra points you get from it gonna make or break the class? Was wanting to go full bow to 50.

Never played a scout. I know popular spec in old days was 50 bow 42 shield 35 stealth 18 thrust for detaunt (Def bonus > better chance to Block > slam > critshot)

With AT 48 you could get 21 thrust or 37 stealth.

Question is, would you lower bow to 35-45 to improve melee dmg with weapon and going for instance 45 bow 42 shield 29 slash 35 stealth

Imo as a scout you are not melee dependant as a ranger.
Inscrease your chance to Block with detaunt from thrust, slam them and critshot them.

in that scenario full AT would only improve your dmg variance slightly. But with 18+11 in thrust, a no bonus to hit with slam and a Working Def penetration/weaponskill mechanics, would you land easily your slam vs a dodge 2/3 NS or SB ?

no. dont do it. its a pain in the ass and absolutely not worth it. (especially when going 50 bow anyway)

Do it all the way. If you are serious about playing a scout, then you will need every small advantage you can get. Also, in the grander scheme of things, you will do rvr way longer than you will xp.

Is the dmg difference between 50 vs 40 bow on a scout that much?

I wouldn't bother doing it on a beta server if theres gonna be a wipe, on release yes if u can group up but here atm no I wouldn't.
