shows a bit on what is happening right now. Usually at 2am EST there are still around 600 players on (at least that is what I see when I'm home) Be nice. :)

During the first 1-2 months it won't be an issue. After that, it will be. For most people, that's probably fine because they won't make it past 2 months anyway. If you manage to stay on the server longer than that, then yes the population thins out considerably when the euros go to sleep. You'll still usually have a pug running around during weekday NA time, organized by the same people every time. So if you want a spot, just log on consistently and make friends with them, or make an alt so you can fill more than 1 role depending on what the group needs. After the initial rush of people quit, you basically bank on getting good action on the weekend. Everything else is hit or miss. <Telus>

Hopefully with the new keep system, casuals will have an impetus to go out and RvR but we'll just have to wait and see. Jeff - 50 Necromancer

NA prime time will always be "dead" because we are in the overwhelming minority as far as population goes, but that doesn't mean you won't be able to find action. It may take a little while for people to get to 50 and have some roaming/keep siege action going on but after the first 6-8 weeks where casual players can get to 45-50 and get involved in end game RvR more will start to go down during all periods of the day. I would advise for you to find a guild that fits your time zone and get familiar with them so that you can have a consistent grouping experience come launch.

The incentive to keep raid beyond DF control should make a big difference in RvR action, I really hope this is a success. Brutally Familiar

I don't think that is actually true. EST has been pretty active these days, I'm actually impressed with that myself. It drops off as it reaches the west coast and goes further from there, but so far the US player base seems way better than on Uthgard v1. Be nice. :)

No doubt about that. I wouldn't be too concerned about population for quite a long while after release. And who knows, maybe with all the hype this server has in store more and more live guilds and returning DAoC players will trickle in when the Uthgard 2.0 RvR videos hit Youtube. Could be a steady increase in population for quite some time before the decline. Brutally Familiar

Honestly,
Considering the direction that live is heading (it'll either make or break the game for them) I only see the population going up on 2.0 If you're wanting to play hib may i suggest... www(dot)hivemind(dot)sexy ![]() damn new user retrisctions =/ |
