Minstrels and enhance clerics for everything

volcanic pillar wizards for mass rvr (this should be a realm that mass rvrs!)

we have tons of pally/necro

Yeah I'm honestly thinking I might forgo my Theurgist and roll a Cleric as my main. We'll see. I might roll an alt Cleric tonight and see how I like it. My Theurgist is 18 so not much in leveling I want to do besides run it in the low level BG's for some RvR fun.

I plan on going either Cleric/Minstrel/Cabby so far. I really want to go Minstrel, but the idea of autotrain enrages me even if it isn't a total necessity. It's merely my own issues/mental blockages.

Things I haven't seen much of...

- Wizards
- Minstrels
- Armsman (mostly Paladins/Mercs I see)
- Reaver
- Scout
- Infil

Ive seen more Armsmen than Paladins myself but that is probably coincidence. I've also seen quite a few Reavers. Not many Wizards, Ministrels, Scouts or Infiltrators though. Also Friars. But there seems to be less healers on than I'd like to see and has me more and more considering changing to one. Or would a high enhance and rejuvenate friar be a workable alternative? I'm always looking for that odd ball classification...

I haven't seen many minstrels, mercs, or armsmen. Though I saw a lot of sorcs the past few days, I couldn't find one for a level 15ish group today..Started a cleric because I hadn't seen many the past few days and I end up in a 5-10 group with 3 clerics + more lfg. Funny how that goes, I assume many people are testing out their options this being beta and also because melee classes have it tough finding weapons and armor right at the start.

on 1.0 i'd say "go for it!" ...but with proper WF implementation, low staff friars are never going to hit that side snare when peel is needed, which (aside from questionable elemental-resistbuffs) is the only thing a friar has extra over an extra cleric while having inferior heals, grp buffs and RAs.

and yes, i keep on ****** on friars in my posts cuz im mad this glorious concept of a char is so gimped.

ontopic: ive not seen many arms and mincers..never had trouble finding clerics though. and wizards....does alb rly need them? im not so sure.

My problem with minstrel is end-game farming...

they're pretty much useless for dragon, legion, etc...

which leads the player into making several toons to template.

ya but who doesn't want a stealth bard (type character) that auto trained has 50instrument/44 thrust?

they seem to solo well and mez purples reliably

plus who doesn't like speed song everywhere they go

Any updates on this list?

I swear, I've spent less time shopping for cars I finance... than the amount of time I've spent deciding on which character to play.

Haha. I've been going back and forth with being a Theurgist/ Cabalist or a Cleric. As time goes by I like the idea of the Cleric more and more.

Yesterday, I very subconsciously, logged on 1 character and killed an npc, logged off and onto another character, killed an npc, and logged off and on another character and killed an NPC...
Then started over my cycle. I did it about 3 or 4 times.
That's 12 times I logged (while watching TV too).

When it caught up with me I was like WTF am i doing?

Been a minute, people have rolled/rerolled and gained many levels.

I know everyone says this won't reflect much when it comes to Live because a lot of people are even rolling classes they may not/won't main when it launches, but what are you guys seeing now?

I have rolled a few characters but only played one and it is only a lvl 5 friar so I just do not have any real feedback myself, sorry.

There's been a lack of mercs, reavers, and armsmans...
We definitely need more of them.
