Hi Team,

Not sure if this is even remotely possible.

But the server location currently is very bad for anyone connecting from oceanic locations. I am not sure if there is much I can do on my end to improve the quality of the latency to your servers. Since I am assuming they are hosted in the EU. The pings times are 300ms +.

Is it possible to move the servers to a more central location in the world where everyone gets an ping of around 170-200?(unless your local at that location)

Server location is in Germany, which is currently where the peak player base is, so for now it is in the spot most fair to the majority of players.

I'm connecting from the US, and have a fairly reasonable ping:

Code: Select all
> ping server.uthgard.org
PING server.uthgard.org (5.9.152.140) 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from server.uthgard.net (5.9.152.140): icmp_seq=1 ttl=113 time=84.9 ms
64 bytes from server.uthgard.net (5.9.152.140): icmp_seq=2 ttl=113 time=85.0 ms
Be nice. :)

This is a very common problem for gamers in Australia.
Very often it helps to get a vpn and try use it to get your traffic routed a different way.

It is almost standard by pro-gamers from that region to use vpn's if they play with people in other countries.
