Launcher not functioning

When I install the launcher, it does not attempt to do anything. It opens to a white screen with the Connect button at the bottom, but it is unclickable.
The window is not frozen, because when I right-click it on the taskbar to close window, it happens instantly, and windows sees it as Running. I have turned off firewall and anti-virus, updated drivers and direct X, and uninstalled and reinstalled the Redistributable and the Framework along with a fresh install of the original DAOC client. It does this instantly, before I even have a chance to find the path for DAoC. Not sure what else to do to solve this problem. |

Which OS are you using?

Windows 10 64 bit.
Have also ran it in compatability mode for Win 7. |

What happens when you select the Edit menu and then preferences? A window should pop up. Have you inserted your game token in there ?

The window is not interactive. Like, he can't move the window itself around, but he can close it from the task bar. |

What he said. The window does nothing, and as such, I cannot even attempt to put in any code.

I too am experiencing this problem and wondered if you have had any more luck in resolving it

I have not found a solution yet, no.

Could an admin at least provide some additional information on how the launcher runs?

I see absolutely no reason as to why the UI would hang like such.
Have you tried to run it in administrator mode? Also do you have the herald or some web page appearing in the center of the window? |
|
Yes, we've tried administrator mode and no- there's no webpage in the middle of the screen. It's just a white box, in a explorer window with the boarder and the appropriate buttons (connect, IRC, webpage, etc.). The window and buttons are not interactive, though. |

Do you have .NET4.6 installed?
Got any questions? Submit them to me and I will try to get them answered in our grab bag !

I would suspect the WebClient request in the window not being successful and making the UI hang.
Such issues are usually solved by installing the .NET v4.6 framework. Are you 100% sure that you have it installed? This looks weird. |

I do have 4.6 installed.

Went ahead and reformatted HDD. Works now.
