i do actually. still dosent changes the fact that this is some realmpride biased ****** and not close to live (1.65). and yes i did play back then and i did own 3 account at that time....

Judging by the overwhelming amount of positive posts about the realm timer I think most of us are just fine with the state of things.

Cant wait did install daoc and the uthgard launcher ready on pc and laptop for when my husband wants to claim the pc for some silly stuff of his then i always got laptop aswell but i prefer to kick his behind to the laptop tough

Thanks for your feedback, unfortunately for you we want to cater to ALL players. And that includes these "kind of ppl" as you so nicely put it. In fact, we have seen on Uthgard 1.0 that people like you who are treating these people very disrespectfully is very harmful to the community as a whole. We would like to encourage you to be more open minded and inclusive in your approach to the game, and I am sure you can find yourself happy to live with these "kind of ppl" as they will be the ones providing you 20% dmg bonus from relics most of the time. And I am sure these "kind of ppl" will be open minded regarding your preferred play style as well so we can have a server that is open to everyone.

We already confirmed that there will be a period with instant leveling to test end game bosses / rvr. When that will happen, is still not decided.

And please, notice I wrote that the ppl he talked about should be open to his play style as well. That includes not calling him a douchebag. Be nice to each other, we all want to have fun with our preferred play style. Whatever that might be, there is room for all of it on Uthgard.

but sure, a problem that doesn't occur in your echo chamber is a problem that does not exist.

i'm not conviced that a fluently changing population does prevent people from playing the realmpride style.
one could even ask, how much pride is it, if you don't even make the call yourself but being just forced by rule.

i have the distinct feeling that the timer won't play out like all of you expect it to do, but will instead accompany us with some "entertaining" discussions.

how can you say you are catering ALL players when realmpride can be a choice, but a timer is not?
isn't it exactly the other way round? let people decide if they go realmpride or not?
what you do is the diametral opposite of what you say. you force people to a certain kind of playstyle.

Being forced into 1 realm doesn't prevent you from playing an 8v8 pro style of play where you don't care about relics, don't add every fight, etc. And you can change realm every single week if you want to, we haven't forced you into 1 realm forever.

i welcome the realm timer and the duration too.
the past just showed we need it and if we didnt they never would have thought about it.
damn those loading times on tha uthgard page feels like overloaded =P
