Good then, WA seems a reliable passive version of viper, which in addition applies to all poisons. What would be a good RA spec order for a NS regarding priorities ?

It increases damage of the left hand weapon for Zerk/SB instead of giving them a better chance to hit (like other realms).

Depends on where you go, who you fight, and if/who you group with.

If you go to Emain or other places where you encounter many stealthers, see hidden is really powerful.

Whether purge (on a 30min timer) is important for you or not, you'll have to find out yourself, but it sure can change the game if you get stunned or you have some heavy dot/debuff on you, or possibly snare/desease vs. a ranged class.

In general, with old RAs it is a good advice to get some passives on low levels. Dex 2, MoP 2 (or more), Dualists'reflexes (put in leftover points), Qui 2, Dodger 2.

For Wild Arcana, i'd only get it at lvl 3 or higher (15% crit chance).

I would probably do something like this order:

- Dex 2
- MoP 2
- Purge
- See Hidden
- Qui 2
- Dodger 2

At that point, you are at 4L4. Now you can either bump up MoP (3-4), Dualist's reflexes (1-2), or head for Wild Arcana (3+).
If you face a lot of endu problems, get a point or two in Tireless/Long Wind.

After that, you already have a nice high RR :) then you could go for Con 3 and Avoid Pain, maybe even 2nd wind which can be really powerful, depending on the availability of endu pots etc.

thx a lot for the tips. i trust your judgment on this, but i would have taken see hidden in priority since if would give me more chance to avoid deaths and get successful kills.
regarding dodger, i think evade 7 gives 35% evade chance, then there is dext/quick formula i can t remember, what is the evade cap ?

Hi :) Keep in mind the that See Hidden only helps you vs Archers and Minstrels. So I suggest that when you are thinking about buying this ability you consider how many of those you're fighting already. It may be that very few people roll archers, which would make this a bad investment. Or it may be that there are a lot, and getting See Hidden will really pay off.

From testing other parry/block formulas on Live I can tell you that whatever formulas you find are not accurate. They may be accurate against a specific attacker's weaponskill, but not overly helpful. Uthgard will have defense penetration (higher attacker WS, more get through your defenses).

So your evade calc looks like this:
Chance to Evade: Dodger + Evade 7 + Stat Contribution = X% chance to evade
X% - Y% from Defense Pen = Z%
If attacker is dual wielding, Z becomes Z / 2 = V%
If V% is still greater than 50%, then V is now 50% (evade cap in RvR).

So Dodger is always a good investment against a dual wielding opponent. And honestly probably a good investment against any 1h or 2h melee character with decent WS. As an Assassin, you're most common enemies will be other Assassins, so get some of that dodger ;)

You can thank me by not adding me if you do go Hib :)

hehe
i ll probably go hib since i always liked NS more and what i just heard about viper, WA etc makes me wanna play my NS even more.
don't worry i never add actually :)

is there a possibility to increase NS dd dmg ? and if so, does it worth it ?

what spec do you think i should go as a low rrk NS ?

i thought about 39 CS 37 stealth/envenom/pierce and 26 CD, it is a rrk 3 spec
i would prefer going 44 CS for the chain but i guess it is better to wait for higher rrk. i would go 36 cd at rrk 5 lowering stealth/envenom/pierce to 34 so basically 5% more off hand chance or going 44cs the same way with 30 cd instead.

damn so this is pre PD for archers?!! DAMN! I was hoping this was when PD was introduced otherwise it will be perf in the face for archers!

I'm also partial to VW for PVE, I'm not a fan of Mages and the class is very cheap to level-only one weapon and cloth armor. Even to SC its not too bad because you only need to spellcraft 3 lines, parry, weapon and damage lines. would be nice if two-handers were worth double spellcrafting points :grumble:
