Chanoine Warder Posts: 57 Joined: Oct 10, 2007 00:00	by Chanoine » Apr 18, 2016 12:48 Maybe they will mark the accounts as "legit" or "verified" so if the GF/whoever actually play the game you're safe even if your companion goes for a toilet break and you push a few buttons for 10 minutes. I really dont know how they police this stuff (but in the end I believe this is a good rule to force some fairness in-game)

Try that when playing both characters the same time

Unfortunately, most of us arent 18 anymore and can't make that kind of obligation to video games. Compare this to Hib: Druid/Druid/Bard - All you need! Now you can take any random collection of 5 classes and you have a functional group. Mid: Healer/Healer/Shaman/Skald - Since mid has a plethora of charges in 1.65, one shaman will be able to cover the group's buffs sufficiently. That's a huge problem for any Alb group that is looking to run or be created. That doesn't even go into the effectiveness of the group makeup... that is just trying to create a speed6 group that has full buffs! Due to the custom changes on Uthgard from 1.65 of 1. No Buffbots 2. No account sharing Albion is by far the realm hurt most by these custom changes. No buffbots and a lack of viable charges forces Alb to seriously consider running a third buffing class and with no account sharing it makes it incredibly hard to create groups. Some simple changes that would not go against the server ruleset and would help offset the custom changes implemented by the Uthgard staff that arent true to 1.65 are: 1. Add items with charges to Albion or make charges available for all realms in DF (Legion, princes). This would help offset the lack of charges and would make owning DF even more important instilling a sense of realm pride and cohesiveness. 2. Consider another look at your account-sharing policy. Albion is not such a daunting task for 10-12 people if you are able to log on a friend's character to help fill a niche group in the class. Nothing is more frustrating then having 8 people ready to go but you don't have a cleric. TL;DR: The price of the cup is too steep. I see your point Jeff, however your wording makes it sound worse than it is (like friars and palas wont do anything) Tank Grp: Cleric Cleric Sorc Minstrel Paladin 3xTanks. Gives you a solid train of 4 (5 if you include sorc (something healer cant do), as mini is rupting). If Pala gets rooted he purges, if purge is down he intercepts someone to break it. Not useless, just needs some brains behind it. Buff issue you say in this group.... 8x con, 8x strcon, 4x str, 8x dex, 8x dexquick, 3x specAF 1x Int (4 tanks dont need AF). Thats 40 buffs, its done. Nothing wrong with also adding a Friar into the tank train, if he gets rooted he just switches to heals where some dumb skald will come break his root for healing. Remember the Sorc is also doing dps and can assist the tanks, unlike the healer, because of mini + pet + sorc pet being on rupts too Caster Grp: Cleric Cleric Minstrel Sorc (4x lots of variables) Here we have a lot more variance to the group than Midgard and Hib, with the main CC also being part of the assist train. So to counter your argument that Mid has CC built into its heals, Alb says we have DPS built into our CC. This gives us a possible assist train of FIVE all hitting zero resists no matter what setup it is from body fire spirit assists (Pala really isnt needed in assist boom groups, but if you must, then he can peel and you still have a 4 man assist). if just 4 of them 5 get a nuke off, the target is dead. If Alb get the first mez off, first target is dead. Nothing you can do. Theyll just push you over at that point, youll be 2 or 3 men down before a tank even gets into them. As for buffs in the caster group, 8x con, 8x dex, 8x strcon, 8x dexquick, and 8 buffs for Int/specAF. Its doable not really handicapped if a few have a charge item. The price of the cup is not so steep my friend!
