It has been a while so thats why im pointing this out,once people found out (Im talking about Uthgard 1.0) the power of snare,paladins were dismissed and armsmen took their place in most groups.And both had determination.

As i said its been a while,so probably im wrong xD

honestly, no i dont. i didnt dig through all 30 pages of this thread so maybe i missed something essential, i was only addressing the 10min endu pot/det to pala custom charge topic. Old RA fights dont last that long so i dont see why using pots only right before a fight should be an issue. ive checked some genesis recordings i made and most fights ended <1minute. of course this is only genesis based but im pretty sure we wont have average 5minutes fights on uth either.

what a lot of people seem to ignore is that both hibs and mids can and will face the same problem... think of shamans getting rooted in the back and tanks keep pushing, endu classes dying quickly because they push in like mad and wont/cant get rezzed. same problem imo

Everybody keeps doing all this ******* complaining, and I'm just sitting here day dreaming of the day I get Dodger and double PA back. Do Infs get the crappy 5 second stun at this patch level? I remember it being introduced around here. Gimme 9 second DF, so I can **** in my pants.

Proly your realm will need to take more keeps than others to open DF, and df not belong to SI.

You can use Nixian's Charbuilder/RA planner. Let's you choose between old and new RAs.

We need a definitive answer on the endo pot/paladin situation. If people roll paladins cuz 2min endo pots suck and then you change endo pots to 10min... every paladin will be useless. at least you must provide class respec to these poor paladins.

OR is your idea that we just use 2min endo pots and suck it up? Log out endo pot bots in the frontier so we can restock? FUN /s

That's actually a question I've been thinking about quite a lot. Not in regard to buffbots but concerning leveling. Without this rule, I'd roll 2 chars and level them simultaneously or log a friend's char who couldn't make it on a given night. Will the staff be harsh on this or would I be the only stupid guy following said rule?

You're right, I primarily play to 8v8. But what you people don't understand is that the elitist 8v8 players and casuals rely on one another to have an enjoyable experience. Losing one population creates a massive realm imbalance that isn't fun to play around. I recognize this, and I'm trying to make other people understand that if you lose the alb elite player population, the entire realm will suffer. I don't know why you don't understand this, I've made the point probably 5 times in the last 10 pages. Work on your reading comprehension.

I'll make two points.

1) Alb did fine on genesis because endo chant was worthless. No one used it on any realm. They had custom changes to lw and tireless that made endo pots more than sufficient. LW and tireless stacked (I don't think they will on genesis), tireless gave endo ticks more frequently on genesis than they will on uthgard, and tireless also gave 2 endo / tick / rank. So tireles 2 lw 1 = perma sprint. It also had 9 charge 10 minute endo3, or 9charge/10min endo 4 pots, so you could perma sprint and still regain 3-4 endo a tick. All tanks from all realms were happy.

With endo changes on uth, it will be impossible for tanks to chase in sprint while spamming styles. In fact, if you don't have endo 4-5, you won't be able to regain any endo while sprinting (assuming you have lw2). This means alb will be at a big disadvantage in fights because they'll be competing using endo 3 the entire fight while hib and mid get endo 5. 2 extra endo a tick is a big difference for tanks, and we'll see it because hib and mid will be able to style more and sprint/chase longer. If you want to use endo heal pots, it will be even harder since the reuse time is 1 minute (I think?), and you aren't looking at how long your 2 min endo regen pot has left when you use the insta heal... = more time without endo regen.

2) Probably most important, the perception of the inequality is of biggest concern. People who have any knowledge of 8v8 understand that alb is going to be at a disadvantage. They don't want to put up with BS that is a) never roaming in speed 6 b) constantly crafting/buying pots and c) suffering mid-fight from endo 3.... so they won't go alb. Lower population = fewer keeps, more imbalance, less DF, fewer zergs, fewer relics --> more frustrated population all culminating in an exodus of the realm. The ONLY thing alb has going for it is the lower pop realm never has a shortage of enemies.

You can keep saying "people will play what they want and everything will be unicorns and rainbows and people will be happy" and you will continue to have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Honestly, this isn't the "endo" of my suggestions either. The two main changes I see needing to happen on any old RA server is 1) pallys getting det and 2) giving cure NS. I'd also like to see buff shears but that isn't as crucial.
