are they any good? I'm interested in them, but I don't know if they're any good in this patch.

What are the ups and downs, besides being stealther food. Will groups take them? Can they Kill stuff? and if so what are some good specs for them.

I haven't played since Andred and Mordred, please excuse any questions that seem dumb.

also whats classes Duo best with it.

FEED Me the infos pls :D

Theurgs are arguably slightly weaker than in New RA setting, but they are still quite strong.

I wouldn't go solo (though you can ofc try it out), but smallman should be good. Use common sense for smallman setups (some heal, some dmg, some cc etc.) and take synergies into consideration (use one of the earlier versions of charplan).

In terms of 8v8, theurg is quite challenging to play (natural first target) and it's still unclear whether they will feature in most groups. They lose some toys but also don't have to deal with charge III offtanks. As usual, skill (and especially the reputation connected to it) will help a lot when considering invites. Of course, getting your own regular group running is always an option.

Well I am looking to duo a lot with my brother who is most likely playing a friar, or paladin. Do you think theurg is a good option to duo with friar or are there better things? how can I bring up his shortcomings. We want to able to PVE farm fine, but also be able to fight some crazy battles.

In most games we find ourselves in fights us against many and overcoming the odds, what setups are likely to pull through in against all odds type of fights for albion.

Theurgist will be the backbone of most Alb groups imo. With no Charge Tanks, and old SoS, Theurg will be a lot more free to get pets out. The only downside, Nearsight. Just gotta hope your Cabby beats their Eldy/Runie to the Nearsight.

Well, in that case I'd go minstrel + friar. friar is an excellent duelist but suffers from lack of mobility ("sitting duck") and low cc. Minstrel has many toys in this regard (but high skill ceiling, too). SOS offers unique and reliable escape for overwhelming situations.

For Duo, theurg can be perfectly fine with Air spec. You get an aoe mez, speed, a very high damage spec nuke, and stun pets that can lock someone down.
Pretty much anything can go with it, but obviously buffs would help a ton. Maybe a smite/enhance cleric.

So I have been looking at Theurg specs,

I came up with 35 earth/41 ice for the lv50 lowest tier earth pets, and 2nd PBT, and 41 for the 2nd best ice nuke/best ice pets

or would a tri spec be viable here w/o MoF 35 earth/25ice/32wind

or will a Wind spec fully prevail from the pure dmg from the lv45 DD and for a 26Earth/10ice/45wind very low aoe root, but has 2nd highest mezz/still has a pbt.

Also, question which RAs are must haves for a theurg, im guessing serenity and MCL and cast speed, but I am unsure.

On live I had quite some fun with Theurg, Air/Ice spec. Was fun to mostly nuke on 0 resists with Air, since almost nobody had "spirit" in their temps, and it was even more fun to kick out 7-10 ice pets which then almost insta-killed their target. But I'm pretty sure this "fun" will be close to impossible on Uthgard. Time will tell.

But nonetheless, I will make me a Theurg.

Ns range > theur pet range

If your cabby wins ns vs the eld, the theu should be able to get alot of pets of before hibs use GP and ns you... but wouldnt there always be a tank on the eld anyway? he shouldnt get many ns off...
