plz Al Bundy, put your hand in your trousers and keep calm.
I guess EVERYBODY would be fine with a quick BETA end. Cuz, if Beta is running 1+ year again.. no one would be fine with e restart after getting higher RR and 1 or 2 SCed Chars... or not ? Majority Bugs done = Restart, little bugs could get fixed after BETA also. And Trishin.. plz ^^ every POINT of this things u want to get checked.. could take 100 Years, check out all BUGs which could be there is not possible at all. I am RLY happy that u got it right now, for a BETA. You all did a realy hard job ofc. But u know what i mean, and u said the relationship to the communitie should work better. Thats why i asked that question.. maybee in about 3-6 month the Admins could offer a VOTING, which Bugs are mostly fixed and the communitie are rdy for closing beta ^^ and all could give HEART for playing Uthgard ( i dont say DAoC, cuz its MORE than only DAoC right now ![]() just my 2 Cent ![]() and sorry for that english.... |

Hey guys
![]() I've a (maybe a bit silly) question about pathing: Does that mean mobs won't jump up/down kliffs of a specific high and try to search for a path? What high is it and what happens if the mob can't find a path? Sorry, I only know DAOC from Uthgard ^^ |
|
Yes they will look for a path. If no path is found then that's a bug and if you abuse it, an exploit. But maybe staff has put something in where if no path exists the mob will ignore it just to be safe. Nezix - 50 Minstrel <The Band>

This should be the focus of testing. Let's test every mob path and make sure they work. If not, we can extend Beta for another year or so to make sure every mob follows the correct path. Especially the cliff beetles. |
|
I guess we can't pull the guards who are inside the keeps anymore.
Or pets/mobs can't chase you inside if the door isn't broken. Mobs running thru walls have always been annoying, but it didn't seem to bother us while sending pets in xD |
|
Something tells me that guards could run out of their keep to attack you, but yes, I think pets couldn't run in. They could nuke through walls though (google enchanter pets for soooo many references to that). Nezix - 50 Minstrel <The Band>

I'm really curious to see how the new pathing system is implemented!

Moah,
calm down guys, beta didn ´t even start and you already complain it takes too long? Be happy that we players finally can do something else then read this forum daily and check for news. We waited for so long, I think we can just wait longer and finish the beta state for a great Uthgard relaunch. |

Wouldn't this be the best April Fool's joke !

word. I'm sure the devs have done a great job in the last few months and also over the last 2 years. I don't believe the beta will last very long, because the internal testers have helped out a lot finding serious bugs or probems and the devs wouldnt have announced open beta if the server hadnt been ready for it. so calm down, help out testing stuff during beta and enjoy the feeling of anticipation for a great relaunch that is going to be a lot of fun for everyone. |

Beta countdown is so slow....
