I can't help myself, I don't want to try another realm, I want to play Albion again, even with all the problems with groups and everything. It's my home realm and I want to come back!

Having said that, what is the best class to probably play as an Alb in Australia? I can't guarantee being around at the time most US/Europe people are playing, so I need something fun to play during my available time.

For nostalgia I was thinking of running a Wizard just for fun (and easy enough to solo) and for RvR in places like Thidranki. If I am going to have something to level to farm, a Necro is probably the best. Are we allowed second accounts to have a buff bot? Because if we are levelling one of those with a Cleric at the same time might be the go.

I would really like to play a Reaver in this game, just for sheer cool factor, and if I have a Cleric buff bot for myself, that'd make things even easier. I've never really given Friar a go much, though they look great when they fight. Matter Cabby for farming is also another good idea.

Any suggestions? One thing I probably won't be doing is going either Scout or Inf this time around. I was never any good at that kind of game...

No buff bots.
Matter cab and necro are both good farmers.
Reaver is fun though I guess I would ask what you want to do at 50?
Friar is a little gimpy in 8v8 but sought in dragon raids and I think a pretty good pve solo class.

Need a better idea what you want to do. Welcome back to Albion!

Well if there are no buffbots allowed I better go for classes which can hold themselves pretty well solo I guess. So for that I think I need to run a Necro or Matter Cabby if I want to be able to get there pretty easy. Alternatively, Fire Wizard until 40 and then for RVR, I am thinking Ice or perhaps Earth?

It all comes down to whether there are people around in my time. Can switch to solo character when there are fewer groups going. In a group, I think I would probably want to play a Reaver I am thinking?

At least for group RvR Reavers won't be very popular because they don't have determination. Tri-spec cabby is a stable Alb RvR class though. Wizards not so much (except for relic / keep / zerg fights).

Solo RvR Reaver is pretty strong - though you may want to think about a solo class that has some sort of movement speed.

Dammit, I had forgotten about what was and wasn't available for this realm in terms of Realm skills. Yeah, not having Det will be a big problem. I could go Merc which I always liked, though autotraining points only being in slash and thrust and not crush is a bummer as I really do like the crush line. HIghlander with 2 crush weapons was fun to see.

Tri-Spec Cabby could work nicely as a caster. To level go matter till 40, respec and then build the 34 body, 25 matter, 33 spirit build?

I'll probably do that as my main RvR, though if I get bored with casting, melee will likely be made as well. Armsman or Merc I guess. Fire wizard can be a fun Thid kind of character, Necro for sheer PvE power. I am guessing archers are screwed in this version as their stealth is easy to be popped by assassin types?
