But if they allow quick switching like Genesis then there will be no point in keeps.. They'll just be there to PVE down like genesis ended up being once majority got the relics for the realm they wished to play that week/day.

you could open the server for pve only and open the frontiers once the revamp process is finished. it'll surely take some time before the first people reach level 45+ and start raiding keeps.

A nice way of doing it is using their own client to be able to login to the server that did more of a check than genesis's client did. Could easily stop people by gathering unique information. What comes to mind is whether they get the MAC address of your modem for instance, since you can change your pc mac pretty quickly. Personally I think 1-5 hours would be a good time period. 1 hour is short enough to play your FOTM one each realm and basically that's a quick lunch break for some to eat/drink/take a nap to continue on longer.

i went live and retired from it for like 4 times since uth is down. i also went to medschool, became a doctor, married a beautiful wife and raised 3 kids with her. we soon first moved to moscow, then all around the world, my wife is now a famous artist, and i'm an expert in my field. we both are old now, the kids have kids themselfs and if they aren't visiting us, we are rocking our chairs in front of the house, confidently awaiting the soon relaunch. the only thing we really want is accurate waterbeatle placement - we know it's a asked lot - but if you could do that, it means the world to us. |

I just hope Chthonic Knight Carnivon has his signature 4 degree to the left facing that he had on live. I always disliked the position he spawned in on Uth, he was always facing too forward.

Was it any level? I went at lvl 20 to 'see the battle' remember seeing blue con Mid's amongst the 'very purple' purple <sigh> good times! Thanks on the update - If this ends up being an early April Fools I will not be amused. |
