I also paid for Uthgard. About as much as i pledged for a lifetime subscription of CU ... 50 Euros over several months, every month. And many others did so too and at least the bills for the Server should have been covered.
Yes, the Dev's are working without payment and i appreciated their dedication but i hate the way they communicate with their fan base.

Being charged for a game or not is not a crucial point in my eyes.
How i am treated as a loyal player: that's essential. And a little substantial information about the (monthly? biweekly?) progress should be doable ...

And for my pledge on CU i at least received a "Thank You".

okok... uthgard doesnt tell fantasy numbers to people but still... i cant imagine that this server is NOT used for blues work stuff anyway

It's okay to want a little appreciation for your efforts, but a humblebrag is a humblebrag.

And they have done fine with the updates on server progress. If they did weekly or monthly updates, it wouldn't actually increase the speed to which the server is being completed and would in fact slow down progress as they would have to gather the info from all devs and write a status report or changelog instead of working on the server itself.

I don't think there's anything that could be done to slow down this progress.
