Well,
I´m not questioning why the server isn ´t ready for relaunch, we ´all know it ´s a free project and the time issue and a fading motivation is slowing the progress down, so it ´s useless to ask for an ETA.
Anyway it ´s nice they still care about it and try to get it done but it ´s also understandable that ppl getting impatient cause of waiting so much longer instead of the mentioned aimed 3 months for revamp progress.

I ´m just wondering why staff doesn ´t set the server online for some testing because they have announced to open it as a beta first.
What are the reasons they keep it offline then, it would be a win win situation just to open it now to calm the community and do some testings. Is the reason because of some technical issues, or is it just in a bad shape and the whole progress is not as far as considered after this long time?

I also noticed that the grab back just answers mostly the easy uninportant questions, maybe some big point decissions/settings are not decided yet or undone?

I know it ´s just a dream, but I would like to see some members of the old mythic crew who developed this game would join the team to improve the whole progress, or some other ppl who are willing to help, there ´ve been many offers by community and I bet some of these guys know what they are doing.

It ´s sad to see this great server starving and getting forgotten. I really hope we ´ll have big playernumbers when it ´s done someday so the waiting isn ´t in vain.

I think all boils down to 2 questions :
1. Eta
2. Provide a list of all custom implementations you will have.


All other questions will be answerable with those 2 questions answered

Hello Trishin,

I know everyone has a different opinion about what is important and what is not, I tried to fetch some of the open points that make a difference in gameplay experience for the players nevertheless if they are focussed at pve, rvr,crafting. Thx in advance.


- How will Uthgard manage the realm-crossing ? (one realm pick, or multi realm play allowed? If multi, will there be log timers?)

- Futher explanation about the courier rvr missions: will there be realmpoint awards or coins only?

- Will we see any artificers/recharge stones in uthgard 2.0?

- Timers on charges/potions? (To stop the charge discussions statement please if they will be in or not.)
->...Not sure if this has been asked already, but will the endurance pots last for 2 minutes duration or 10?

- Can players own mounts? If yes, are they usuable in pve zones only? (solution/compromise for custom change)

- Overall progress and what goals are missing to start the beta?

- How will old RA handle immunities? Trip, Grapple, Ichor etc., will they ignore root/snare immunities?
Will they grand immunity?

- Will camp fires make a return in 2.0? (if yes, which levels?)

- How will the epic armor quests look like? Will we have just to kill one mob again, or have the steps to it been researched?

- On live servers damage add buffs used to stack, will we see this feature on uthgard?

- Will you implement craft-tasking in the three capital citites ? Will it be fixed a bit (there was some glitches pre-revamp) and extended to all types of craft ?

- Will chat-mechanics be livelike according to 1.65?

- Will we be allowed to trade poisoned weapons since that was undoubtedly the way it was at 1.65?

- Will there be reskins,if yes how to get them?

Instead of ETA how about a percentage.
Are you 50% finished, 75%, 99%?
If you are not going to tell me whether I am going to be waiting a month or 5 years then tell me how close, NUMERICALLY, to completion and I will do the math myself.

ETA first

Then would be interesting small difference\adaptation that deviate from real 1,65 patch.

I think most of the people played 1.65 so is better to describe differences from that instead of describing what it like that patch.
