I don't post much on the forums, however when I have something to say, I say it. I have never went to genesis or whatever the fk the other server is called, as I am an aged gentleman, and I have the patience to wait for those things that are worth waiting for. Having said that, I feel that you guys are constantly dodging the only real question that is on peoples minds right now... Give is an idea when we can expect this server to reopen, if at all. Period. I feel like I am being duped in the grandest fashion here. We are not asking for an exact date. It no different that someone who would put a nice think juicy steak in front of a caged dog. I cannot understand, unless for nefarious reasons, why you continue to dodge the very community that has supported you for so long. I'm not going to sit here holding my breath making posts to kiss your backsides, like some of or other infamous posters, ranting at people like an egotistical maniac, for wanting to know wtf is going on. Personally, I could give a damn if you told us it was going to be another 6 months...I can deal with that. At least we would have something. As I said earlier, I have patience, however when I feel like I am being duped, my patience stops right there.

I couldnt have said it better than myself, however I did move on went back to retail for a bit for a total of 7days then canceled. I went to genesis just recently because I have that itch to play but it still isnt home... The question that I have, are you going to have some sort of beta test open or closed and if so is there going to be a way to register maybe even a lottery? I may not have an extensive knowledge ofall the formulas and coding involved with how everything works but I still would like to "play" to ensure sstability on the server I call home.

There is no real feel of any kind of buzz or excitement coming out of the dev team. Everything is still in pieces and there is no real urgency to put it back together. Grab bag column is a good sign, but given the fact that it has been almost a month between grab bags, my estimation is that you can expect at least another 6-8 of those before we get any kind of eta about the re-launch. Two year offline anniversary is slowly but surely approaching, and at this point I would not be surprised at all to see it come and gone. You cannot expect them to 'click their fingers' and for the server to be fully complete. The attitude shown by you in l this post is obscenely negative and almost like a child denied sweets or the latest toy, not considering that your parents are the ones working and paying for it. It has been made abundantly clear by the staff that their intention is to re-open the server to a very high standard, this goes beyond patch levels and a completely re-written RvR code. It goes into the realm of providing a professional server experience to a very high standard not seen on other free shards and arguably live. Imagine the hours upon hours of research which has gone into ROGS alone... When Uthgard relaunches ( and we all hope soon of course ) the standard of the server will be above and beyond that seen on any other freeshard; this is through countless hours of research by staff and players and all for no payment. Instead we are provided with the acknowledgment that what will be given to us is an opportunity to step back into DAoC when it was at its prime.
