@ relvinian- You do realize that grays did not count for RP's on Uthgard 1.0. Now go back and read in the forums how many times people complained about gray ganking. I will save you some time, it was ALOT.

As Baman and others have said, those that want to gray gank will do it regardless if they are worth 0 or 10 rp's. Some people just want to watch the world burn. If you don't like getting ganked, than farm in a safe area. If you want the xp bonus than you take the risk. You being worth RP's is not even in the equation. It happens regardless, so quit putting so much time into worrying about it.

Actually I played on uthgard solo animist and they nerfed the mana regen rate and then changed it so there were no rps while dead and then made greys with rps and included them in titles.

I labored to create the character in one world and almost overnight woke up in the new and messed up set of rules.

So we only get a grab the bag every month? If it was once a week then maybe I could anticipate the server releasing very soon, but because it's probably going to be a monthly thing(if not more), I can already tell that we still have a long time and 2016 is starting to actually become a possibility.

I have to admit that I secretly enjoyed punishing the greys that intervened in fights. I never had the urge to gank a grey unless a friend was sitting besides me and we agreed that he looked stupid or had a name that called for a whoopin' (or the millions of other reasons you can come up with).
If you get ganked as a grey, just take enjoy it for what it is - coincidental, an online hero who wants to feel superior to you, or someone who has dedicated himself to a certain roleplaying style (I'm looking at you Baman, in latter two regards anyways). This discussion is pointless - we're opposing realms and we hate eachother, right? I'm a huge fan of treating opponents as I want to be treated myself, but those are the rules of the game.

I am however very dissapointed that the lone enforcer title is ridiculed by greys adding to the total. So. Weak (/biased).

On a final note, this revamp should never have dragged out this far. In all honesty I think this is ridicoulus.

Genesis could never be as good as Uthgard..... unless Uthgard doesn't come back. If it doesn't I would rather not play DAoC at all then play on some crap server the sucks to high hell. Lets face it, as much as I love DAoC and think it is/was the best MMO ever created, it is an old game... very old by today's standards. I pray daily that the awesome staff working on Uthgard complete the revamp at some point but if they don't I will still be grateful for the time I was able to spend on the server. Genesis on the other hand is/was a piece of ****** server, I tried playing it initially and the fact that their login server took FOREVER to work as well as the munchkin like attitude of the people playing and the devs made me sick.

But Bugesis is up and running. Status of the server is teh ****** .. granted. Yet some people prefer playing on a ****** server to talking about a server that is just a fantasy ..

As opposed to praying for world peace or a naked Selma Hayek? I had some fun on Uthgard and the devs did a good job keeping it up and making it stable.

If they get the server up I'm going to play but I still wish they would make a few mods here and there so that more people would play there.
