Something that will never happen. That's for sure.

I don't care if it was on classic...there were bugs on classic that were fixed later but are people demanding all bugs be left in? If something...and I am NOT referring to pots here...is bad for the game it should NOT be left in the game JUST because it was in classic.

Many have said the same thing but the GM's are wanting as close to a classic server as they can get with little or no customization. I understand what you are saying, but customization will only happen on this shard in the most extreme circumstance. Like I said in my earlier post, the biggest reason for the reset is the removal of years of customization.

I cannot speak at all for what will be the working formulas on the new server. However, I can say with 100% certainty that Hib and Alb were on the same speed of bow's and same range for all on Uthgard. On live, Alb had the slowest bow with longest range, then Hib, then Mid. On Uthgard it was pointed out in the bugreports that there was no distance difference between realms and that Hib and Alb had the same dps bows. I know that this was never fixed. I am not for sure if this is something that is going to get fixed or not on Uthgard 2.0 but it is a good question.

This would be a good question to ask in the grab bag.

I did...according to someone there Albs were the slowest...rangers middle and hunters the fastest shooting and it would remain the same.

I wonder if it was bugged on Uth and fixed now...or was it never bugged and people were testing wrong?

It was bugged. Alb and Hib and even Mid all had the same range when there was supposed to be a difference. Same with speed. Midgard, I believe had the proper speed bow, Alb had the proper speed bow, and Hib had the incorrect speed bow. They had access to the slower bow I believe.

Rather than explain all of this further I will post the best post I could find on this. To answer your question simply. Yes, they were bugged on Uthgard 1.0. No, I do not know if this has been touched on Uthgard 2.0. From the fixes that they have reported that was not one of them.

Edit: After reading one of my old posts about archery trying to find more information, i've uncovered another good archery question that was always put on hold. Will there be working procs on bow's?

Errr.... maybe because its part of the game?
I would remove MoC from all realms, to be fair, can we? I dont think so.

yep thats the response I've been hearing, sadly its a sidestep and not an answer..it doesn't remotely answer the question

Moc doesn't take the place of a class and an entire specline, poor analogy, -10

Go back and read some more. We did answer your question and discussed the fact that buff classes are some of the strongest classes in the game and mythic introduced Charges and Potions for potential balance.

i would like a server without alchemist and spellcrafter...
but uthgard got a patchlevel as straight goal and so i and everyone else here need to live with it.

in my opinion we need a real hardcore classic, the game we all entered once, and not the game we created over the years through QQ and lazyness.

buff classes are strong at what? cetainly not dueling or soloing(<---watch, you will argue this)...except maybe a friar or warden....so tell me....would you be satisfied if only base buff potions were available and not specs?(<---and not answer this), na you gotta have it all right?
