I applaude you for this initiative.

1. Assassin/envenom dot ticks - Will it work as your 'old' setting? Same values?
2. Will you implement bow procs?
3. How much damage will WoC do?
4. Will you plan and communicate events like previously? I'm thinking the bummers regarding you skipping some events (i.e. christmas event) and not communicating it.

what about Quests?

will there be more, harder, brighter or only the well known from Uth 1.0?

What about epic quest? will there be tho whole chain of quests or only the sole mob to finish the epic quest?

Dunno, if this question has been asked yet.

Will there be a mechanic to prevent crossrealming? If so, how will it work?

Will grey players continue to be worth rps?

Will players continue to receive no rps while dead.

Will there be rvr missions.

Will there be titles.

Will all classes be complete before launch-- ie, no broken spell lines or abilities.

Thanks for this, a step in the right direction.

Will there be a test server players can log in to. Please put it up!

Will there be a /switch mechanic for swapping shields or weapons into the left hand?

I believe /switch was something added to DOL at some point, but never existed on live. I ask because there is zero chance I will play a BM or Merc if I have to manually drag and drop my shield or left hand weapon into the slot every time I want to switch between the two.

I read through the thread and did not see these asked yet (I apologize about the first being so long):

1) Will the abilities of the various Cabalist simulacrums be as the were from 2003 live? If memory serves they were as follows:
(a) Amber - Self Con Buff and Stun proc
(b) Ruby - Fire DD Proc and Ranged Fire DD
(c) Sapphire - Lifetap Proc
(d) Emerald - Disease Proc and Poison Proc (body type damage)
(e) Jade - Damage Shield

Also, will the pet reclaim spell work as it used to? I know it was probably a complicated mess but I am curious how it will be?
Oh, one last thing, and this could apply to spiritmasters too I guess, will the life transfer spell function as it used to?
For some reason I think it used to be a little stronger than it has been on Uthgard, I could be wrong.

2) Will the various odd drops in Albion still be in the game? (Scepter of Intellect, Foul Helm of the Deep, Strange Cornwall
boogey chainmail and leather armor drops, etc)

3) Will the Enchanter pets high level proc buff spells function now?

4) Will the Animist have full spell functionality now?

5) Will the trees of Forest Sauvage be as large and tall as the once were years ago?

6) Will Beta characters carry over or will we get to start with a fresh set again? (I am actually hoping for the latter to be the case)

We will collect questions for at least a couple of weeks to get a good chunk of questions in.

Will gatekeeper get a usable by everybody 1h staff with dd charge like on live.

Thank you for this great oppurtunity. Several questions of the same kind were wandering through my mind :? , and I woud really appreciate it, if they were answered :wink:

1. General Question: How will you implement Abilities which are missing details in their official description, or even have unfitting descriptions?
Example: snare duration of the 39 Two Handed Style "Doubler", which had a (custom?) duration of 12s on Uthgard 1.0. Sadly, there is no information on the internet about the duration to be found. How did you come up with 12 seconds in Uth 1.0? Other examples are in the following questions:

2. The only info I could receive from the internets about Soldier's Barricade is
"Large bonus to group's armor factor for 30 seconds."
How large will it be? And to make the value legit for the players: From which source do you get that info? (I ask because I am afraid something similiar to the snare duration of Doubler will happen. I don't want to see random numbers. If you don't have any info about it, be honest!)

3. The official description of "Prevent Flight" says:
"When active if the tank's selected target turns and runs the tank has a 35% chance of hitting and proccing a 50% snare for 10 seconds."
This description is wrong in many ways. First of all, it's an passive ability, so the clause 'When active' is unfitting. Me and other mercs who have played a long time during classic/SI think there are more flaws: We are sure it was actually able to procc if the target was MOVING in ANY direction, regardless of the direction. So the only requirement was that your target does not stand still. But if you read closer, the description doesn't even say 'turn by 180 degrees', so it could be any kind of turn - even small turns by 1 degree. How will you deal with it?

How will old RA handle immunities?
Trip, Grapple, Ichor etc., will they ignore root/snare immunities?
Will they grand immunity?
will prevent flight proc an unbreakable or a normal snare?
