They are hard at work RUNNING an ONLINE server and still have time to communicate to the people that are not even playing there anymore. Maybe you guys should take notes from the competition because NOBODY wants Daoc++ premium 2.0 but do you guys even care? Lack of manpower to handle such a large revamp, total lack of communication with fan base on regular updates and developments. I am surprised to see people still come here to check the forums. There has been nothing new to talk about for months and it seems like people in charge have totally abandoned us and left us all in the dark about the Uthgard future. Hmm, you ´re right about the lack of communication here sided by the staff, that was discussed many times before. But what is the solution instead of waiting and posting meanwhile bored posts here? Playing Genesis? No thanks I tried it and in my opinion it will need some years to come even close to be a competitive server to Uthgards level. When I consider play Daoc again I want to put my time in a server with a good setup, I don ´t wanna waste my time on a buggy lagging server with bad patching that never left beta state, no thanks. In the worst case I will wait in vain and start over with Camelot Unchained like the most ppl here. I would give Genesis a second try when they do a rollback and make it a pvp server but that won ´t happen. So there will be 2 classic Servers at day X when Uthgard returns and Genesis will vanish or get a new setting. In fact both servers will get into trouble when Camelot unchained releases because it is aiming at daoc players, therefore it would be smart if the relaunch of Uthgard doesn ´t take too long to rebuild a solid playerbase until then. But calculated on the small facts and news I guess relaunch will be about 3+ more months.

I am a student in my mid twentys, second master semester in engineering at TU München (aka Munich, Germany) and life just passes by. My evenings are not as enjoyable as before. I feel sad and drink myself to sleep with booze and tears. Please get this server up as soon as possible. January is the perfect time for that. Please help me and everyone else waiting for the relaunch. To be honest, I don't have any problems with Downtimes, lots of patches, reboots and so. So maybe you can focus on the uptimes first and then implement SI while the server is already running. There won't be a PhD without Uthgard for me, can't stand the pain.
