Right, so your saying most players are idiots that like to ****** and complain? huh somehow I don't think that is how it is. I think most players are waiting patiently and won't respond to a few players stupidity. I on the other hand feel it is my sacred duty to lay the smack down on stupidity.

i had a dream last night. Uthgard went online. every logged in and everything was dead. all the npc's were dead. the players where ghosts. and all the mobs where just corpses. the Gm's were trying to res every one, but something was wrong and we never did get to play. Daoc died... I woke up in tears, ran all the way down stairs to check portal/forum.

If anyone wants to join us in EverQuest on Project1999, we've got 4 people playing together nightly (2 mages, 1 necromancer, 1 druid), while we all wait on Uthgard. Even if you've never played the game before, you're still welcome to join us.

Hey Scrooge thanks for the info about project 1999 it is sure taking me back. Gull you think I am going to hold back when other people don't your crazy. I have been called a few things by other members of the forums so why don't you go try to order them around.

I played project 99 a while back and tried to re download it again a year ago but all the damn downloads are full of nasty nasty viruses. I am talking really nasty so be careful what you download.

ah see I still have my original cd's I had to download their corrected files but I scanned them and they were fine.

You'd need the specific 'Everquest Titanium' client, it includes many expansions after the original game, so you'd be able to try out other servers if you wanted also. Kind of like how 'DAoC Platinum' includes content for all the DAoC expansions also, but Uthgard only uses data from 2-3.

Our group is still at levels 7-10, so you guys still have an opportunity to join up - cause after a while you won't be able to get XP with our group if the highest level is too far from the lowest, although they may have changed that too. They've made quite alot of changes since last time I played this server when it just came up in 2009-2010.

We started out on the Faydwer continent (one of four current ones, there will be a 5th soon from the 2nd expansion,) that means if you want to start on the same continent you'd have to choose one of the following races: Dwarves, Gnomes (rock!), High Elves or Wood Elves.

The current group class-wise so far is: 2 Mages (which I'm one of,) 1 Necromancer (doesn't play much,) 1-2 Druids, and one new person from these forums, 'Pensy' who is interested in playing with us - wants to try an Enchanter (main CC class in this game, but goes way beyond just that in terms of fun and abilities.) It was my first class on both EQ Live over a decade ago and on Project1999, so if you have any questions about it or any other class for that matter, don't hesitate to ask.

Come by our IRC if you'd like, server: irc . rizon . net , channel: #uthgard - though most of our people only join after 4pm EST (gmt-5), so if you see too few people, don't assume that's what it is all the time, just wait.

backman66, I probably won't be actually because I am saying what a lot of players are thinking. That the whiners need to shut up and let the Devs do their work. If you don't like it I suggest going and playing and staying on Genesis. I will support the Devs here by being patient and not asking when its done or if there is an update.

summer is gone, now we really need that server
