Well to people who say Genesis is losing people...

I started playing on Genesis about 2-3 months ago. At that time the average population for when I played was abpout 150-200 peeps. The BEST I saw was 400.

It has grown in that time to average around 200-250 and the peak times I see around 450 to 498 i saw a few days ago.

So yes it IS growing over the last few months...

But I can not say what it was before that.

But to the person who said Uthgard better hurry or else no one will play...the only thing that will hurt Uthgard is Uthgard. Genesis will lose a LOT of people when Uthgard is finally released (if released). Camelot Unchained will take people but I just don't have faith in it to hold people in the game. NO PvE at all will hurt the casual player and regardless of what people think you need the casual player to succeed.

Here's hoping for uthgard sooner rather then later =)

CU will not take people anytime soon, already very far behind schedule their target 2015 release wont come. A soft date for CU imo will likely be late 2016 if that.

Well the gms are taking their sweet time, so I don't expect any updates because they haven't done anything. The gms are cxxky and you know they would brag the moment they fixed/added something new. 6months and nothing to say, guess were here for the long wait.

Some really good games are coming out. I hate to say it but this might be a dead project. It will always be a great game and server to fall back on but I see some epic games coming out that will make players commit to years of play time.

I have been on Archeage and it seems closest to what I love about Daoc but graphic engines have made stellar leaps. Arch goes live on sept 16th so expect a dip in population on other servers. I expect some of the Admins to play this game too.

Lets hope this pans out and Uthgard pops up nest year. Perhaps we will all have grown tired of all the new stuff and want to hit up some old school Daoc.
