Give 30% xpbonus for people that playing 1 realm at least 1month straight,
15% for 2 realms
0% for 3 !

Cant be done.. We have alrdy been over this. Theres nothing Uthgard GMs can do to prevent people from playing other realms...
... Anyways there wont be any "x-realming" for the first 2-3 months anyhow.. And hey who knows, maybe there will be some realm pride now, considering it's going to be way harder to get rvr rdy on your first toon, than it was before.

Cross realm is something to hard to control, I say we just setup a 30min-1hour IP lock for relic purposes and call it a day.

Edit : or don't do anything.

I think with the exp fix which fixes group and PL experience, It should be a huge improvement from Uthgard 1.0.

Yeah but even the old Uthgard experience rate wasn't so bad, At least when you hit 50 it felt like you accomplished something. At least now with PL just make sure to make some friends :lol: .

Personally I believe that if Uthgard would become a chronologically progressive server (though alot more rapid than it was on live,) it'd be alot closer to the 'classic experience' than it ever was before, not to mention alot more fun!

For example, they'd start at a certain earlier patch (say 1.35 for instance) and content, and over time introduce 'newer' content after, until it would reach it's goal of 1.65 or whatever patch the staff decide to end it.

OR

The server starts out with classic pre-SI content, no SI classes/features/perks (this would mean no SI/Alchemy either) for like the first 1-2 months (or whatever the staff decides,) and then afterwards introduce the SI content they've been working on all at once. This way maybe the Staff can release the server much earlier, and just activate the SI content whenever they feel it's ready.

If anyone here played on the classic Everquest server, Project1999, it was a great example of such a 'framework' for a classic server - starting with classic only content and over time introduce 'newer' zones and eventually the first expansion, Ruins of Kunark. That's how they're currently still working on the second expansion, by having a separate "beta server" to test things on, while leaving the main server active. This idea of a progressive server was so popular that SOE (Sony Online Entertainment) decided to make a pair of 'progressive live servers' reflecting on the success of a private server like Project1999.

Let me know what you all think about suggesting this idea to the staff, would appreciate everyone's support if you happen to agree with this concept of a classic server.

-I'd say fix the endgame drop from SI, or at least make the content to hard until it's ready.

-Make sure old RA's are (somewhat) working.

-Si classes like necro+bd fixed.

Honestly anything else can be fixed along the way, but I know this wont be accepted by the staff. I myself would want to bring something that is impressive and surpasses any competition. Taking longer and bringing out a A+ server gives good impressions on the newer players. I don't think Uthgard staff wants the same reputation as Origins.

Hmm, I would prefer to open Uthgard as a test server with a complete rollback when it finally releases.It could help to find bugs and it would be better then any news, because we are part of the progress. You could make the server PvP for this time too, for fun, So ppl can kill each other instead of posting bored in this forum :-D . I really wonder why staff not considering this as an option.

Anyway, I´m against a final release attempt when the major bugs/patch goals are not complete finished, I don ´t wanna see a nerf-daoc periode like it was at Uthgard 1.0 again.

i 2nd that ^^ making it a bata server for a few months is a good idea imo
