Hi there. Formed DAoC player and I came across your website. Can't wait for it to be up and running again! Anyways, i'm not sure if what is happening is due because of the serrver being down or what...but here is what is happening to me.

Basically, I try and open DAoC and nothing happens. It act's like it's gonna load, then nothing happens. I tried to download Framework, and nothing popped up saying 'download here' or 'complete'. I am running on Window's 8. I followed the 'How to connect' step by step. I just wanna make sure when the time comes to start playing i'm ready and not left in the dust. Any guidance is appreciated, thanks!

Did you try to open Daoc client as admin for patching?

It doesn't even give me the option to run as admin. When i double click it, the mouse gives the sign that it's loading, but then nothing happens.

I just opened the file location for the DAoC client, found the logs file, and this is apparently what's happening (if this makes sense to you Thailen or anyone else)

You should have the admin option in the right click menu. Try it from desktop or the file folder.

Error could be some access restriction to the folder.
