Yes, but you should not need it. server.uthgard.net always has the correct ip.

Uthgard.. Das wird wieder ne krasse Umstellung sein .. hab jetzt paar Monate WoW gezockt...

Vom extremen easy-klicki-bunti-uber-schnell-erfolg-Modus auf richtiges MMORPG ... :lol:

Will there be anything like anti-Radar implemented this time? Not to over-reach but it'd be great if there was a way to do that before the server's back also, cheaters ruin the game/server for everyone else.

To my knowledge radar is still working on live, so gonna be hard to make a 100 % working anti radar program, since they cant even get it right on live.

Well I know Genesis has banished a lot of players for using radar...and so far in the last month I have had no issues with radar like in the past. Here's hoping =)

I am looking forward to playing on Uthgard again. When ever that will be it will be worth the wait. Currently playing Elder Scrolls Online. It is good fun but just does not have the edge DAOC has!

I love DAOC and i am planning to come back and play on this server. I liked the old DAOC before all the expansions and this server seems to fit what I am looking for. How were the players with the newcomers before the revamp ? helpfull ? selfish ?
I hope that this server will grow up and will be fun to play on. The dev team looks serious and cool.

Can you tell me if you're going to make some advertising for this server please ? I loved so much the old DAOC mass zergling :D

I'm almost certain they had that worked out in Uthgard 1.0. I remember playing on live and there would be some blatant abuse where groups would make a b-line from clip range to the stealther sitting in the middle of nowhere.

Speaking as a guy who spent 90% of the time hiding that everyone hated and wanted to zerg , take my word for it... if people could use radar, I would have seen it happen.

I don't think it could detect stealthers but I never really heard complaints about radar usage on Uthgard 1.0. I imagine staff has a good system in place for detecting it.

like the hidden trap below the ground, where they kicked a whole hib grp into jail cause there is no way to detect radar ^^?
