After having worked for over a decade at IBM, even the most time consuming projects gave regular status reports on progress simply for the fact that, even if nothing changed, you still were engaged knowing that work was still ongoing.

It was more as a courtesy to all the project teams no matter how small or insignificant the update was.

...I'm sure the Uthgard Devs are busy as beavers, but a regular status update once a week isn't asking for much even if nothing was done.

Going months without a "Hey, guys, this is where we are..." is... I don't know. Out of touch?
