Mspaint and notepad come with all windows computers. And you can make an entire zone with both of them.

(If you're bored...)

The sad part is that this is actually true :D

If you on top of this learn how to create nifs, you can basically create whatever zone you desire.

i rly want to agree with alphaone, but i cant, tbh i dont know any rvr player which is or was in need of those "hey i got 400 4l2 chars and 5 mithril" players.

in fact the most of those people want to be part of the "big" rvr, but they cant compete because they dont have rvr friends or play wrong classes ... some even play as horrible as i do.

the players on uthgard always heard the same sentence over years (yes i listened to this crap aswell at my uth start)
- mimimi the high rr´s set grps bla overwhelm you instant.-

yes there is truth in it, but it should never be a reason to avoid the challenge, you can only learn from mistakes and you need to fall first to be able to stand up again. RR is just time, nothing else nowadays.

-------------------
on the other hand i rly loved tajendi, but i hated those items somehow (but i used them aswell)
i was always against fullcaptemplates, because for me it changed the game to serious from this YEAH LETS BASH ALL ENEMYS to this YEAH WE OWN ALL DA NOOBZ YEAH.

hope anyone gets my point, anyways, stay calm and zerg da planet! (at least when uth is back :D )

I hear you Edgtho. It will be a goal of mine to try and become a much better RVR player (or at least more of a RP source available for the elite RVR peeps), since particularly now I have a computer that can handle an INC without having 5-7 seconds heavy lag. ;)

I won't say though that my old computer was an excuse for why I personally did not RVR much on Uth 1.0, but it was a reason, as I was worried about forming a reputation as a bad lagger and not a good to elite person to group; hence no RVR groups. That was a big problem with newcomers to Uth 1.0 ( I started in the fall of 2012), as you only had a small window to show yourself as elite, else you would be ostracized, lose hope and quit. Hence I mainly worked within my bounds: I crafted, I farmed items, leveled raid chars, and got to know peeps. It was the best I could do under the conditions I was in, particularly given the elitism that dominated the RVR scene.

But. The free-for-all that will be Uth 2.0 the first 3-6 months will be a glorious time: many people will have chances not available to them before. There will be many many xp groups going, ****** items will be acceptable in RVR, and ofc the elites will eventually separate themselves...but only after a period of time where we can all intermingle as equals (hopefully) and learn about each other...teach each other....etc etc. When the inception of Uth 2.0 comes, we will all be on the same playing field, and that will be an experience to be lived, cherished and remembered after it passes. I definitely plan on being there for that. ;)

I do truly hope that Uth 2.0 sees more tolerance and inclusion, as for the past 9 months I have been actively posting on the forums (didn't even make an account until last fall) so anyone who knows me knows that I am very much against elitism. If you are good, better, or the best, it doesn't matter if you win every time in combat...for the sustainability of Uth 2.0, we need inclusion and that means training and teaching those who are committed but just not as good as you at that time. I will try and do my part, and I hope others will join me. And for the record, I know there have been many people before me who have stated and done this very thing...I am just carrying on their mantle during the downtime of redevelopment. ;)

Lone Live Uth,

Alpha

So do I. However that's basically up to the community. All we can do is setting up the framework.

Just a RVR note. I rvred every hour I could back when we had Agramon. I stopped when we went OF. I'm not sure what turned me off of it but I recessed into playing BG's mostly. I think Agramon promoted working as a realm to conquer the solo keep there when it took 4 groups to take it. OF switched back to the 8 man elitist ranting that pushed many to solo and you could 3 man a keep. I also was here to play when the frontier was Crauch/Crim in Emain Macha. I think the server outgrew that map but it was very fun also. OF is the correct map for the patch period but I think its just too damn big. Anywho

I would be perfectly fine without SI.

Have an epic mob and get the epic armor and kill another mob and get the rewards from the neck quest.

At which point who needs SI?

It is more items to be in the database and creates lag.

Also takes more time to start the server back.

I like new frontier better too-- not holding my breath.

Players can greatly contribute to a server if you let them.

Uthgard, still the best server. Thanks, Devs.
