best thing about no buffshears: pugs, especially w/o voicechat, will have a better shot vs guild/setgroups in general. also, less pressure to use voicechats. so ye, pure classic feeling, daoc and music and oldschool chatmacros. :D

at the people crying about the lack of competetiveness / skill required: it is 2014, this is daoc. if u wanna be competetive, there are plenty of other games that will truly challenge u. :wink:

But serious lets say Uthgard gets like 500 players pritty fast.. who are the 500 Infiltrator´s gonna play against ?

Now here in reopening Uthgard 2:0 go use a long time ( cos the exp have still not been fixed, only very very little as i see it ) on lvling your NS,Ranger, SB or Hunter to 50, so you can go out and be free rps for Infil.. come one be a pall..

I can understand peeps still played their character, when the 9 sec was introduced. but why would they start from lvl 1, knowing that, that will hit them if a full group dont ?

No whine without a good suggestion though : i think Dragonfang was nerfed back to 5 sec in 1.69 ( 2004 i think ) cos the 9 sec simply was too much ,, so in 2014 with what we know, could we just agree 7 sec ? it is a lvl 50 style and should be more than a hib lvl 25 diamondback ( diamondback = 5 sec stun )

Otherwise as i think the 1.65 is a good choice in many wayes, even tho i play hiib :lol:

dnt be deluded about why the 9 sec stun was nerfed, the introduction of new RA's with TOA and patch 1.69+ gave all assassin the same options in RA's meaning they had to do some style nerfs for balence, fact is the Nightshade is going to be CRAZY at high rr due to their RR options and i do not think inf 9 sec stun will help them a whole lot vs them, that being said daoc thrived for 4 years while inf's played with 9 sec stun so theres no real problem here.

I doubt it. it sucks, because I hate the new dark Dartmoor. I'd love to have the old one back.

yeah infs will be overpowered. That's balanced by the fact that scouts will be RP cows unless they are grouped with Infs to protect them.

Original start locations have been restored, and our world reflects these changes. Cotswold, Mularn, and Mag Mell are once again growing and thriving villages, and the Shrouded Isles portal has found it's way back to its proper location. Shrouded Isles comes alive more and more each day.


So for example: all Mids will start in Mularn? Or will it be separated like in Classic Times?
Northmen: Mularn, Vasudheim
Dwarfs: Haggerfell, Mularn
Kobolds: Fort Atla, Galplen,
Trolls: Galplen, Fort Atla
