All those whiners that beg for a Wipe seem to forget a mmo is unbalanced by nature Those who play more, advance further, It's the point of an mmo. A fresh start won't fix that problem.

How long do you think Uthgard will be down for?

Deleting ALL items and making rr11 cap should be enough imo. Deleting all chars would be a bit unnecessary.

I could accept it if that's a democratic choice stated by a community poll, for me the most important thing is the server population. And also i would add: the players who wish for a possibile wipe, why they want it? because they want to restart their characters from 0 (bringing them to 50, re-skill their professions, re-templating all chars and at the end doing rps from 0 etc.) or they just want equal chance with RRs so they would like just to restart rps?

If the decision was made with a lot of consideration, it should have been announced enough earlier such as a few months, not like 3 days.

This is a real argumentation. There are and there will be newcomers players forever, what should we do? restarting server everytime a player joins uthgard?

when I joined the server it was quite more fun...

- shutdown is ok, wipe is not (boring as hell to raise crafters again / 5x legendary, Alchi on 800 something...)
- just add Thid back as a BG above Kaldrheim to give new ones a chance
- increase droprates (not ridicolous ofc)
- who needs 15 min. porters (ok, improved for low pop times - NOW)

if you wipe - do you think people want to start new again (after they did this just on Origins)? no way when you need ages for xp to lvl 50 on uthgard.

The first days you have no problems on Origins to find a level group (and it's 8 man 90% of the time). One player one account means there will be not much rerolling (you wouldn't wipe your lvl 50 chars to create new ones that often).

never expected a shutdown here (except for patching or new hardware)

If you really consider about players, better give enough time players to say good-bye, because not all of players read this forum.

rr wipe - accepted
item/ money.wipe - accepted
char deletion - not accepted. its ok to give a fresh start but let the char lvls / spellcraft / title counters intact imo. so all start the same level again wihtout the feeling of completly loosing your beloved chars
