ForumStatistics on RvR Population in Thid since BG announcement

could anyone release some information about the Thid RvR population since the announcement of BG changes on 31st December? =) Numbers should be like 50% of the server haha |

It doubled in Thid. But thats not 50% lol. Its the small zone that makes it to look this way I guess. We see about 2-3 groups on each side.

Hard for me to say during prime time. But US prime and later, when I /who, and /who thid I have found that approx. 25% (12 of 47 one night I remember clearly) of Hibs were in Thid. I imagine when population is higher the actual percentage is lower b/c thid can only hold so many full groups. Once the population reaches 3-4fg for each realm it starts to get ridiculous.

Lev 50 rvr decreased and thid population increased. I hope this will over in one week.

considering Thid wont exist in a week, i would think this is just people desperate to get as much XP and RR's before being forced to feed the set groups' epeens.

There are no set groups on uthgard at the moment and just because certain grps kill you, it doesnt mean that they are a set grp  Based on your signature and your statement, i'd say that you have a lot of experience from the "after-thid" RvR and that you are obviously an even match for them ... not  BTT: There are 3-6 fgm, 3-5 fga and 1-3 fgh running every evening in thidranki. Dunno about the action in emain or the other frontier zones but i heard that there is still RvR going so i assume that just the usual mid zerg in emain is missing and simply went to thidranki instead. I'd really like to know what the hibs are doing all the time. Compared to albs / mids there are none of them in thid, emain and odins, so far are they doing instead?^^ Can't imaging that all of them are playing PvE.  |

This is absolutely true, hibs(with few exceptions) are seen very little in RvR. I think it's mostly the elitist attitude, don't think they are very friendly to "unknown" players. It's like you have to go through Gestapo first, then you're ok to join a group(90% of them are still ****** pugs that lose most fights even after the elite drill). They do populate emain more when they have at least 5 relics. "He was concerned only with the naked fundamentals of life. MID - ALB - HIB, most easiest realm to most difficult. In MID you're able to run a successfull PuG inviting four donkeys.
Sorry Raggnar, I'm sure you'll get over it. OT: We did face 5+ MID FGs yesterday in Thidranki, guess we've been the i.diots for at least trying it with our group  Satas Hakx - various artists

i was in Thid yesterday and there was not 5 fgm! more like 3 to 3.5...but then its pretty easy to blame other realms for your failure to compete.
Today in Thid was disappointing though, 2fgm to 2fga and no hibs... |

It has been a bit zergy the last couple days during the day.. but during US afternoons, there has been some really good 8v8 today and last night. It has been a lot of fun in Thid trying to cap our toons out before it goes away.

It's thidranki, nothing but zerg and we're all used to that. As for emain, while mid group might be easier to build in theory, there are still very little good pac healers and shamans around. Most pac healers just do aoe insta mezz on inc and then heal entire fight, nobody is ever announcing their cc, shamans are mostly just buff bots anyway  . Hib tank group is pretty easy to build, but I guess you also miss decent bards. Still, I think it's the Hib attitude, nothing else. Yes. We saw that when you play Mid and spend rps to hib/alb how easy it is Mids play with all setups thats the difference. |

I have had this whole conversation multiple times and I have to say that I think you are all a little right. Its a multi faceted problem. That attitude on Hibernia is much of the problem. On Hibernia you have a very big divide between the RvR centric players and the PvE centric players (casuals). Part of that is because of the set ups that Hibernia needs to be able to compete and part is just the fact that people on Hib only have certain players they will run with. They are also the least likely to really put together a few groups and run a zerg. They have had moments where they will do it, but are certainly the least likely over a long period of time.
