Activation of purge 1

I have a small question concerning purge 1. Some years ago you could activate purge 1 before any negative effect was applied and it would work after waiting 5 seconds if a negative effect was applied in those 5 in those seconds. Now it seems like you have to wait till you get an effect and only if this effect was applied before you hit purge it will work. Otherwhise it simply deactivates and you can use it again after 5 seconds.

Is that behavior desired or is it a bug?

purge1 was bugged before, now its working correct.
I mean, this answer is only logic or not? Why should a person get purge2 with same reusetimer if he can use bugged purge1 with same effect?

I didn't want to ask why there is a 5 seconds timer :lol: . I wanted to ask why purge is deactivating itself if you press it a second before you get stunned.

For example:

I attack an enemy
I see he wants to slam me
I activate purge 1
One second later slam goes through
5 seconds later purge doesn't do it's magic
Instead purge can be activated again

because you didnt have a negativ effect on you in the moment before you get the slam. the controll is not "do you get a negativ effect in the time of delay" its "do you have a negativ effect? if yes cure it after 5 sec, if not do nothing"
