I play the classes I enjoy and play the way I enjoy because otherwise I would not play the game. I've never claimed to be a great player or elite, I play a select few classes and do the best to play them as well as I can given the settings. Also, its funny because those same players talk mad smack about you as well. I've heard many fun stories about your playstyle and how bad you are at group RvR and how you even were made fun of early on in the game for also keyboard turning. Maybe that is why u get so upset that I can keyboard turn and still whip your butt on a regular basis. Detect Hidden apparently saw through camo in Old Ras but does not in this setting from what I have learned. I was wrong about that since I never played New RAs before uthgard. Also yeah the ex-Built to Last crew are the patron saints of smack talking. Tho just 2 weeks ago we rolled them till they quit when they didn't have 2-3 rr10+ in the group when I was on my merc. Was pretty fun to have a balanced fight. The same people who smack talk me lol. You say you whip my butt on a regular basis but I don't know what you are talking about. When I pwn your Hunter over and over again you ragequit, log on your ranger. Run directly too me and RA dump everything you have then brag about killing me. A rr7 vs a rr10. You are the only person who brags about killing someone much lower then you in rr. I wonder why that is? Also. If I catch your ranger before you see me with MOS you die........that is how ALL of your fights will be when Old Ras come. You won't be able to use MOS/Camo as a crutch like you do now. There will be a group of people out there who will want this realm to be entirely Mythic-like. Exactly like vanilla, drop rates/xp rates, basically everything and you will not be able to please them unless it is exactly like vanilla. These people have their nostalgia goggles on so tight it's cutting off the bloodflow to their brain and they believe that vanilla was perfect and nothing was wrong with it.

To be fair, they did deal with the topic at hand which was how the patch goal of 1.69 and Old RA's would effect game play. Svp and myself just decided to deal with it a little more in depth. Either way, I promise, from now on with this thread if I reply to him I will PM him.

I will say the current requirement of active ras for pve and rvr is over the top and makes me want to spec all passives like the old school.

Everybody happy. New players happy and the former high RR's won't mind since they are hardcore and get RR11 it back in no time; especially looking all badass in their uthalis-paid-reskinned armor. No sweat.

However, this news are bad. Old ra's are crap, unbalanced. No need for this. But, like someone said, "Uthgard is THE DAoc Freeshard". And Nokia is still THE leader in mobilphone market. Isnt it? I dont care, cause i cant change anything. Other Freeshards are coming up, so let's see what happens.

There's simply no server (and most likely there won't be one ever) that is even remotely comparable to uthgard in terms of server progression and user base. Furthermore old ra's will be more than and good argument for more players to come - as it just brings the server closer to the time most people remember as the "good times" of daoc! But I have to agree with you that old ra's are crap, but w/e we'll get used to it as we did for every other inconvenient change in the past And as long as it helps enabling and stabilizing an even larger user base, I'm pretty fine with that.
