Youll never be able to reach that 1035 player record from 2010.

i had scout 7l in old 1.60 days and with "true sight" it costs 8 points, and you could see all stealthers enemyes at maximum distance range visible, like if the was not stealthed , for 1 min , every 30 mins, not only mos5 range... That was great with fg archers, every one could use it every 5 mins :D .

i hope to see 100% working SI class's when SI is released too :) bd pets implemented, savage defence pen fixed, necros ect.

still, any ETA on these old RAs? And as i saw upper posts, will the NF items decay aswell ? (such as megalodon cloak)

EDIT: 2003 not 2013 derp.

I had a scout on live but I do not recall the patch level. I quit Jan 2003 soon after the release of SI and man did See Hidden ****** me off as it made it nearly impossible to solo which is what I preferred. I remember getting rr5 in stealth 8 mans(3,000 people during primetime on Merlin meant it wasn't zerging it was the only way to survive against the other stealth 8 mans) but quitting soon after as my ability to solo was almost non-existent even with a 50 enhance buffbot.

There will be a group of people out there who will want this realm to be entirely Mythic-like. Exactly like vanilla, drop rates/xp rates, basically everything and you will not be able to please them unless it is exactly like vanilla.

These people have their nostalgia goggles on so tight it's cutting off the bloodflow to their brain and they believe that vanilla was perfect and nothing was wrong with it.

As long as we're playing I remember when...

I remember being on live in TS, have 8 scouts knock their arrows and wait for some poor sap to come running by then *plink* dead :D

Thats the thing that made me most sad about new archery

It wasn't you, it was the class design :lol:
I remember those early bd times ... that ****** was annoying to play against! They could basically just tap you to death!

btw my legion cloak is still 3 charges not 10.

oh come on sanni, you can't leave me just because of some changes... we don't even have a clue when they will be released :cry:

i bet when old ra are released we will hit the player cap on uthgard again for some days. And the game was also fun with old RA, not so balanced etc. but who cares. The good old tactic: when you have no chance, bring more! Will still work. :wink:

Horrible news. The nerf-bonanza just continues. As if the latest changes werent enough. Now the lousy old RA's, oh the HORROR!

Not gonna list all the stuff I consider bad/strange. It will take too long. But this quest for 1.69 and all of is "purity" and the ignoring of the community (except the cheering from "elite" players, ie ppl who's unemployed, that have enjoyed all the candy from Taj and RA's for so long) reminds me of other ppl who believed they did great things.

Come on Staff! You cant be FUNDAMENTALISTS!

Did you remember ANYTHING at all from live? Seriously, you have no clue what you are talking about. You said "See Hidden" or "Detect Hidden" on this server was broke. WRONG. You said the old "See Hidden" would let assassins see archers w/ camo down at clipping range. WRONG. You claimed rangers had the fastest bow's and the lowest range. WRONG. You now say that True sight is = to MoS5. WRONG AGAIN. True Sight allowed you to see all stealthers at almost clipping ranger for 1 minute. So, I wont be shooting you at 625 ranger like MoS5 gives. Instead I will be shooting you at about max bow range. If you run out of of the way I will SoS to get back in range then shoot you some more.

My favorite line in that whole statement of yours is "I dont know if you played Archer during Old RA era but you really are not going to like it, trust me." So far the only thing you proved to me is that you have no fricking clue what playing an archer class on live with Old RA's was like. I actually did play ranger (Zacknafein on Iseult) with Old RA's, and I will admit that at that time assassins were more of the top of the food chain in the stealther wars with Old RA's, but I killed plenty of assassins in 1 vs 1 fights w/ everything up. Like I said, a combination of true sight, ip, purge, and some toughness/mastery of pain/tireless/regen makes for a tough combo to beat if everything is up.

What I will love on this is Minstrils w/out AM anymore. This might even start making stealther groups more common in the long run.
