It came to our attention that Windows 8.1 has mouse problems in games. DAoC seems to be affected.
It's done when it's done. Thanks for your patience.
Every bug gets fixed. Sooner or later. Might be device-dependant. Running Windows 8.1 Preview since 1st day it was available without problem.
On 1v1: red = dead (most likely me, sometimes you). |

I, too, have "unplayable" DAOC as a result (unless I revert into a keyboard turner zomg). Logitech gaming mouse

Logitech Anywhere MX mouse. Might be because I'm still running the preview though (didn't have time to repave to RTM yet). I'll keep you posted once I installed RTM.

Is there an easy way to roll back to 8.0 if it I run into some trouble?

No start menu. Just a start button that takes you to the start page or whatever they call it. [3:10pm] <myrmidon^> You have to be a c*** to be awesome at daoc

While we're at Win8 being evil: Virtualbox with VT-x enabled will cause BSOD's on a Win8.1 host

you can't downgrade because old drivers aren't compatible with Win 8.1

seems to be a mouse problem
 when i'm playing without my keyboard but with my mouse : no lag... when i put my mouse out of the screen : no lag... |

its the new amd catalyst drivers.
the mouse issue appeared a few months back for me on live servers with the new drivers. coincidentally the method for using a custom cursor also fixed the lag issue. |
