shouldn´t it be that way that faster swingspeed slightly decreases and slower swingspeed increases the damage ?
i finished my sc (i didn´t put a single point into quickness- the class doesn´t get any so my troll is still at the base quickness value of 35 )- it was hard to find good stuff without a quickness modifier - and now im very dissapointed at the nonexisting damage increase . i just swing even slower than before without having the increased damage that i should have.i should be hitting for at least 80 more than with +75qui from sc 17%haste)i did some tests on that dummy - k i thought its bugged. so i ran a few duels - same thing there.

i do the same damage as quickness capped skald with hastebuff . i have more str - higher weaponskill and hit with the slowest weapon you can find in midgard. we have an equal realmrank without anything that affects our damageoutput(both with equal equipment-same weapons/slightly different resists). so whats wrong here ?

there should be a significant damage increase - but there is nothing. i just hit once where others hit twice for the same ammount.(so i get outdamaged)

it should be like the slower the swingspeed the higher the damage(dps drops through lower swingspeed - but that doesn´t matter in an assistrain at lagging targets  ) . does anyone notice anything similar ?

no, swing speed increase your DPS, what are you talking about is weapon speed, slower weapons should have dmg bonus

edit: ah I just read your post carefully, what are you talking about is indeed odd.

you have base dammage for a wapon that is fix.

you have a style dammage that depend your swing speed. your dammage on one hit dicrease on styled hit with hast and quick. your DPS increase with hast and quick.

yeah on mid dammage should be lower with fast offhand cause dammage should be (wapon 1 + wapon 2) /2

on alb and hib dammage stay the same cause chance to hit with offhand is not 100% and the dammage of the main wapon stay the same.

with fast offhand the stylebonus should be lower.. wich is in result a lower dmg. But as Razzer said you do same with 4.2/4.2 and 4.2/1.0. the difference is the stylebonus and not simply the dmg
