Banned from server type

I recently talked my wife and brother into giving DAoC a try and they loved it. We tried to log in today and it says we've been banned... I'm assuming it's because we've all been playing on the same IP. What needs to be done to get our accounts unbanned?
EDIT: I've also noticed that there's no topic including our names or account names in the banned section of the forum. I read that it could result from an incorrect password 10x within a certain window, but the only way that could be the case is if the window was 3 days or more, as we didn't log in yesterday. |

The time window is since the last reboot, so yes, it is quite possible you were at 9 bad passwords.

Is there any way to tell how long the accounts are locked, or can we just have them unlocked?
EDIT: I ask because we may or may not have tried each of the accounts after finding the ban message on the first attempt (which, if I read correctly, increases the ban time by an hour). Also, is there anyway to reset this? It would really suck to have to wait an hour in the future to log in because of something like a typo or caps lock on. xD |

Nevermind, it let me in! Thanks for the quick reply, Abydos!

Alrighty, well it appears that my wife has done it again (I guess she's having trouble remembering her password...) Is there any way to reset this feature so that we don't get an hour ban every time we get the password wrong?

save the password is DAOC Portal so you don't have to remember it?

If you forgot your password, click account recovery on the left to have it e-mailed to you. you can save your login information in DAOC portal for quick (and reliable) login. Highlight Uthgard, then right click and choose "edit quicklogins". Fill in description, account name, password. If you want, you can also fill in the realm and char you want to log into. |

I can honestly say I never knew about that feature. Thanks again for the help.
