Don't care and would rather enjoy the server for what it is.

Actually as per the custom changes, it would be OF horse routes and player horses.

Well i have to admit, so far im rather surprised by most comments. I thought for sure there would be a lot of wishy washy banter about i like this but not this. The consensus points to being truly classic if it could/would ever be possible. I thought for sure that i would hear more grief from some of the higher rr people (rr10+) who would lose their RA points, or from those that would face a tank with a str/con debuff and an extra weapon or three with lifebane/disease/crippling poison on it. Bravo people, you are slowly winning me over... or are you pulling my leg because you know all of this would never come to fruition?

None of the custom changes you listed really bother me.

Crafting materials in housing would be nice. Even with Animist pet limit PvE is rather easy on Hibernia. Custom remains droprate is still kind of low but I collected all the Hib ones already so it doesn't really bother me. :P

Gotcha Aust... I feel the same way about crafting mats in housing. I know they want the appearance of population in town, but 75% of the people in town are afk anyway. Craft, alt/tab, watch tv or read... rinse and repeat. How did you feel about player mounts or OF horse routes.

the god dam.n custom rvr sickness with custom concentration pool reduction - stop the racism for hibs!

Player mounts helped me to escape a trio that was going to farm me so I don't mind them. :P If they remove either or both then I hope a keep porting system is in place. Would be much easier for Hib since both horse routes are camped all the time.

Remember, if they did complete classic 1.69 setting the HR would never be camped because there wouldn't be a horse route.

I agree Sleepwel, I was expecting to hear alot more back and forth comments of, "Well, I like this, but dont like this..." All I got to work with is Nayeh pointing out the Animist change (which I also understand is to prevent server crashes) and his comment about assassins poisoning other peoples weapons. The animist change is for the integrity of the server running so its understandable, but everyone knows on live an assassin could poisons their friends weapons. We cant be 100% classic and not let assassins do this. Lets all remember that live like classic and balanced are probably never going to work together. Hell, they are still trying to balance stuff on the game.

I knew i would find one of you who didnt like the livelike setting

Whats the difference between me making buff/heal/endo pots and sticking them in a guild vault or poisoning 20 weapons and sticking them in a guild vault. Here we go down the slope again. I guess if poisoning weapons = buffbotting, then crafting and selling stat buff and heal / endo pots on my merchant is buffbotting also... uh oh....are you suggesting that alchemist get the shaft again?...

I know.

Maybe i made a bad assumption.

i thought u meant that if i poison a weapon and someone used it while i wasnt there then you were equating that to me "buffbotting" that person.

kind of like me making a stat buff potion and selling it on a merchant and someone using it while i wasnt there. I guess theres a way around that also. If you use a stat buff potion, you have to be an alchemist, and have to be able to make the pot (whether its yours or not)

Thanks for your input though. I was still pretty surprised that out of everyone who replied, only a few people would like to keep a custom change over livelike settings.
