hi,

Is it useless to put enhancement (cleric spell line) bonus to your armor? Cause it doesn't increase buff. Don't know about conc but as far I know conc is only piety based.

I can't really help you out there, despite the fact I play a cleric myself, I got enhancement bonus on my armor because it felt like I should.. for some reason..

Anyway, I don't believe Concentration is based on piety, since all the clerics I've grouped had exactly the same conc limit.
I'll dig into this tomorow and I'll be sure to let you know if I find anything.

well I can't check it really cause on every part of my armor both has +enchantment and +piety bonus. And when I put the armor off, I still buff for the same amount only I have less conc.

i don't know what you call enchantment...if you mean the guy you pay to enchant your armor... that's just to increase your defense, and you have to do it.

concentration is based one your piety

your buff level doesnt increase your concentration pull , that's the reason why you can't do lot of red buffs :D

I do believe the costs of buffs remain the same over level, and that conc just goes with your level...

I still have to find or be given evidence that proves it otherwise

depends on your spec. if you reach the level of you basebuffs you will get full buffbonus on them - if not you´ll miss some points on your buffs.thats what you need +enhancement for.

YOU FAIL!!! ^^

Most Clerics have the same conc like u since all Clerics are Highlander, Britons or (most unlikely but possible) Avalonians.

In fact all of this classes got 60 piety at the start.
+ 10 startpoints
+ 45 points on lvl 50
+ 75 points itembonus

So I guess all clerics got like 190 piety and thats why they do have the same conc pool.

If someone did NOT put 10 points on piety as startpoints it WOULD affect his conc pool.

If you are not lvl 50 and yellow spec buffs you cant buff as many buffs as with lvl 50 (due to the missing piety).

If you dont have piety capped on your armor you will also not be able to buff the same amount of buffs as before.

If you specc AUG ACU 2 you get +12 points of piety and you are able to buff 1 spec buff more.

If Albion got a 2nd relic even a Cleric gets more piety (acuity bonus) = MORE CONC
(yeah I did notice: I could buff 20 buffs and was not OOC - wtf?)

So Raven............ ^^

I don't get this part.

@pana, raven:Yes, I mean enhancement. (changed that)

@sonnenschein: I was asking about enhancement bonus not piety...

basicaly, you need 50 composite enhancement if you want your basebuffs to have max effectiveness (so let's say you are 40 enhancement spec so now you need +10 enhancement)
and yes, piety affects concentration, I remember when there used to be piety bonus for every keep you took I could dish out one or two more buffs

Thanks Razzer,

(I have enhancement 48 so with the rr I don't need +enhancement bonus on my armor, saves a lot of trouble with spellcrafting).

So, if I got this right:

Bonuses on enhancement line only affect your base buffs value, and do not change spec buffs value.
Conc is only affected by piety.

Correct?
