Forumconnect.exe help!!!!

I am trying to log in to play for the first time on Uthgard. I pick the server and then put in a username and password and hit "play" then I get a message that says "connect.exe has stopped working", what am I doing wrong? Thanks!!!

What version of DAoC Portal are you using?

Please use the 'browse' button to find your DAOC folder, do not type it in manaully.
Also ensure you have .net framework 3.5.1 installed if you are on windows XP http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... aspx?id=22 Make sure you run all windows updates after installing that |

FYI I was able to log on last night, thanks for the help. Wow, it is going to take forever to get 50 here, glad I have a buddy to level with haha

Actually it's not that hard. You just have to know where to go and you have to get used to the xp. It always kept me from starting on Uth and now that i am here, I don't bother anymore.

It took me and my buddy almost 3 hours to get to level 5 last night haha. We're just doing kill tasks and killing mobs for now. I remember it took me almost 5 months to get my first level 50 back when I first started playing which was about the time they released DF. I'm sure things will pick up soon. Powertrip - Necro
