I don't like the idea to remove /emain.
in my guild we checked from time to time if there are any enemies in emain, while we playing on a bg. if there are some we will log to our emain chars and defeat them ![]() guess i will not log to my emain char to run hours around to search enemies. so in my opinion to remove /emain will hinder more then it helps to get players to emain. |

Ypsen: I see it different. If everybody reacts like you then nobody logs into Emain as long there are no enemies. Thats the point of the problem. With /emain you will have no cruising players inside. Also the command may be unfair for the ones who try to level there. They just can be detected very fast by players that not even are in Emain.

Guess MB is one of the most active guilds in emain. if there are no enemies around and we got all keeps and no enemies are there to raid them back, why we should stay there as long as emain is empty? |

thanks for the fast reaction. really feels good that you actually care about the "little" problems here.
thanks a lot |

1. i like /Emain. I would like to see /Braemar, /Wilton and /Thidranki too.
2. The Post was English from the start. So warning people because they also post a German translation is one of the most stupid things i have ever seen in this forum from a Moderator. |

Well not much poeple are active on forum .... <img src="http://217.86.191.120:81/sig.php?chars=Shien;Sumuran;Silen;Silia;Sinius;Silenius">

Gerbald:
1. There is no equivalent on live servers for such commands. And as I already said about the commands problem, if you see there is no one in the zone you won't go in too and so contribute to the emptyness. Such a command shouldn't be a necessary game element. 2. This is an english speaking forum because decisions about RvR should not just met by germans here. And there is only one RvR forum for a good reason. |

if the staff already wanted to take off /emain it's nice. cause i would be sad that a guy asking guild mates to vote in topic can make things changed. cause in game lot of people told me " /emain doesnt work anymore? that sucks
![]() but if it's the staff idea and not the one a minority i just can agree. even if i think ,as lot of people, that it was a nice thing. i think that helped for small rvr and not kill it. now you won't go with a small group for rvr. you 'll only do with a perfect fullgroup. now you will loggout if you see nobody after a while. with /emain if you saw 4-7 enemies you staid even if you didnt see anybody after 20 minutes. the rvr will just happen when people attack keeps... but if you can attack keeps, that means you was able to do even if emain was empty and so seeind "there are 0 enemy in emain" was not a problem. but yeah, if it doesn't exist on live, it can't be done here. <img src="http://www.fallenearth.fr/daoc/daoc2.php?player=Panachou">

German posts tend to make people post answers in german. The second and the third posts were answered in German, that's why he get warned. This forum is for the whole community, please write in English only. Last edited by Kazuki on Mar 27, 2007 21:47, edited 1 time in total.

ppl who dont speak english at all can still ask guildmates (or in separate threads in their forums) for a translation.but ppl who cant write or even understand english will allways have a disadvantage in rvr while playing with other guilds or random grps.
Realm versus Realm means:
Everybody of some Realm, against everyone of the other Realms.. <img src="http://opakwertheim.mine.nu/sig.php?chars=Fortius;Jelhenna;Mhaerion;Elkhas;Kheran;Geneva;Deheaeniera;Kaeron;Throgrus;Colibri;Khalinos;Rhelaine;Kheldan;He |

Well, thats still no reason to warn Salbei. I think it is somehow scary paradox to warn people who are spending time into translations so that everyone is able to understand what a topic is about. I remember that some people always had been kind and translated the german-written replies into english. However, now we all know that the rvr-subforum is english only ![]() /ontopic I think blue stated it all. The current /emain command is just counter- productive because most of the time players will avoid Emain if there are too many or less opponents. Another aspect is that on live servers you won't find such a command and at least this fact should be enough to just kick that command out of Uthgard. Regards Sethor Characters:

But they will hours over hours run around in emain and search enemies? ![]() Most will not run more than 5 to 10 minutes around to search some enemies (me included). Don't wonder if there are soon less players in emain then ever before. Or change emain to a smaller rvr map. |

-> Rules for this forum, please read before posting here! ![]() You should start reading threads before posting. |

yeah, but so will the enemy, and in the end it should result to more action. |

Oh I have read it, but does that post strictly prohibit additional translations
into further languages to allow the whole community to understand it? Not yet. At least in my eyes it is more harmful to a community to exclude minorities, because of a language barrier than to partially allow non-english posts while relying onto the more forum active community members to translate it. It is an imperative for Mods to differentiate, if a user is able to speak/write in english and than disobeys the rules, but to just warn users for adding a translation is extremely harsh and bitter, even though english is a "world language" ... some people just aren't able to understand it. Of course there is a need for rules, but even those should be bent if there isn't a direct harm to the forums. Greets Sethor Characters:
