Finally managed to install the latest Catalyst Control Center and set my Monitor back to 1920x1080 but I cant choose any higher resolution than 1400x1050 when I start daoc.. I already tryed to change the user.dat by myself but when I logged in it changed back to 1400x1050..
Is there any solution, cause I hate to play on a lower resolution than 1920x1080.. ![]() |

whats the name of your video adapter?

using a vga adapter, it worked well with this combination under windows vista a while ago.
Had to search through a lot of driver versions, compatibility modi while installing and stuff and now that I finally got the resolution working again on my PC I am not able to play daoc that way grrr Also checked if the resolution needs to be added manually to my registry but it was already there in the DALnonStandardxxx |

Are you playing Fullscreen or Windowed Mode?
Also, are you running dualscreen setup?

Playing window mode (but tested Full Screen too).
Playing Dual Screen thats true. Laptop + 22" Monitor. |
|
Try setting the 22" as default or try to manage to have the window spawn on the 22" one.

sometimes with my laptop, if i set it to extend onto another monitor, it will change the max res to a smaller amount (even though both are Full-HD).
Setting the laptop to only display on the external would rule out problems with the monitor, but i suspect its a driver issue. |

try changing your adapter name in user.dat , they might have not listed all the proper resolutions for your card
adapter=AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series |
|
Managed to get it working now. Was trying to change the adapter in user.dat but it went back to my graphic card all time.
Found a small script to force a resolution and it worked, finally ![]() TY for your help everyone! ![]() |
