so what does the command /emain do ?
it shows you a average number of enemie players in the emain zone.

just the 0 enemies in emain thing is usefull to prevent ppl from wasting their time.

if somebody sees 1-3 they just don´t go there and do something else - logging for their bg char for example.

if somebody sees 28+ they don´t go there either .

basicly what im saying is that the /emain command holds people back from even going there.im asking to remove that command.

Sure, the /emain thing is a double-edged sword, but i am not sure removing it will do anything against the current emptiness. Only thing is, that you won't see how empty emain is ;).

Folks, stop thinking so narrow minded, i just can repeat it over and over: If emain was interesting, fair and challenging for most of the community, it would be full of groups. Since it is not, people go otherwhere.

Anway, voted for yes, since without the /emain command, maybe levelgrp-farming might decrease a bit in emain ;).

Removed the german posts.

Please write in english here!

It's senseless to create a RvR-board for each language because you all belong to one community .
Meaningless posts, or posts in other languages will be removed without warning.

Be kind and pleasant to everyone - flames and throtles will not be accepted.

Best regards,
Kazu

Your first warning, Salbei.

so i get warned for creating a thread thats already been translated into english by myself ? i think this is an important poll so everyone should understand it . there are many people on the server who can barely speak english 8O

i created the thread german/english - so whats the warning about ?

you just deleted the german part and let the english part stay there - its np for me since you can more easily get the point this way.

if you want to jail my account you dont have to find misbehaviour i didn´t do.

This part of the board is english-only though, german posts tend to make people post answers in german i guess that's why the german part was deleted. You could reroll the poll in the german sector, though ;)

I think there would be more RvR in Emain without /Emain. Maybe the peak numbers won't right, but i guess the base number of players would surely rise, as you don't know if there are RvR/Levelgroups until they take over something, and even then only the holding guild/alliance (if they inform themselves ;) ) will know how many there are. I wouldn't say the command is bad but as long as it says 1-3, noone will go in.

If it wouldn't say anything, there may be more solo players and small groups tryin their luck, including levelers which can't be so easy detected anymore.

In my opinion the /emain command brings no advantage to the server. It just introduces more problems like "Hmm, nobody in emain, I don't go in" and "Ohh, so many enemies, no chance, I don't go in". So I want it removed.

i think the /emain command allow fairer rvr.

you won't (or shouldnt ) make a fg for some rvr if there are only 4-7 players.

and so the enemies will stay in a fair fight... and so you can have fun.

you dont wast time cruising emain if empty.

you won't log on other realms to see if people in emain.

you won't set /anon to not be spoted.

let me think 4-7 thats 1 guy afk at tk A and 3 guys roaming around grpd from the other realm .

hmm 4-7 lets get em with 7 guys so its a fair fight.

so those 3 get bashed by 7 and log . still 1-3 remaining ,hmmm not worth it. so those 7 log off and just the one afk guy is left.
thats what happened in the past.

---
im trying to show an alternative here :

a nice thing would be , that if you ask a guard in your tk (something like /whisper emain) he would answer you .

"be carefull" =a few enemies out there
"its quiet so far" =0enemies
" i heard that the forces of x are preparing for an invasion" = 16ppl + of one realm

If there was any way to see how many enemies there are, i'd just vote for a whole lot (20+, maybe 30+) or less .. i think it's not really good if you get to know if there are any - if you don't know, you'll run around and search and so will others, but if you get the message 0 players you'll think you will not find anything and therefore just quit and don't stay in emain.

The /emain command was on removal list even before this voting was created. So this voting gave the last kick to take action.
