Issues with connecting when logging in please help

I put in username and passcode click on Uthgard, hit play. then I get a Connect.exe has stopped working.

In DAOC Portal settings for your client, please press browse then find your DAOC directory. There is a high chance you typed it in incorrectly

it is now patching, which I haven't seen before so I guess that's a good thing:
