So what I have come to so far from reading info on + valor:

+Valor will help DD damage. That is all. If valor reaches a composite of 50, it is the same (in terms of resists) as 50+11.

So far I am not sold on this. I have not done any testing, but while playing an Uthgard champ I have noticed resist rates to be... very very high.

So the question is:

Is 50+1 valor going to have the same resists as 50+11?

TY

+Skills does not influence Resist Rates.

I have +19 Skills and I still have an appalling resist rate!

The only thing you can do is to spec Mastery of Focus to "raise" the level of the spells.
The only important thing with resist rates is the level of the spell and the level of the target.

Doesn't MoF only raise the level of a spell to a cap of 50? So if you already have 50 in that spell really there is no point in getting MoF ?
Battle Druids quite possibly the best class EVER, they need to be fixed on uthgard!!!!

Exactly. The maximum spell level will always be 50.

The cap is 50 yes but don't mix up speclevel and spellevel.
Even if you have 50 in one specific specline every spell has it's own spelllevel (the speclevel you got that spell).
For example the best Snarespell in the Valor line is 42 even if you have 50 Valor.

Sooo....

Would + Valor effect this, as well as speccing MoF?

No, only MoF raises the spelllevel.

Ahh you mean if +valor also has any influence on the resistrate.
Afaik not, just on damage and variance.
