I wanted to throw a get started guide together for alb since I usually stay in clan cots and find myself repeating this stuff a lot.
What to do to get leveled from 1-20. 1-5 do the quests in Cotswald. 5-7 Do the lvl 6 quest in Cots, the Slith quest outside North Camelot Gate, at 6 the shaken squire quest from Prydwen Keep. Then kill mobs. 7-14 West downs kill tasks from named guards. /macro task /whisper task. Lv8 8 do Leomas Wisdom and against bandits quests in Prydwen, father hulgreth from PK bridge. At 13 do the drum quest in west downs. 15-20 do kill tasks in caer witrin. At lvl 16 get the trevians best friend quest from avalon marsh. House 1245 has clan cotswald friended (Thanks Big Steve) You can bind and use the vault and teleporter-- sometimes people leave gear here and please leave your old gear if u want. To get there go to housing and hop horse to alamdar. Then use this macro to find it /macro house /houseface 1245 https://www.uthgard.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=37632

When you hit 5 you should do your first class epic starting in camelot as it will give you a full level of xp
 Furthermore you shoul keep continue doing your class quests on 10/15/20 as they'll give you some nice items to start with and some decent xp! |

if u are a class from Defenders of Albion guild u are allowed to do only the 1st epic since Abydos nerfed the epic 2 quest and not works anymore and this dont allow u to do the other epics

hopefully not the SI-portal, it doesn't work yet  on topic: i always found it easier to just kill mobs...all the quest doing with finding the npcs and stuff took so much time, i was better off fighting mobs...with a good spot it's maybe not as fast but also not as annoying, cause u never know which quests work and which not (i know, u just gave some hints and stuff, but anyway)...maybe at higher levels (like 25+) it's better to throw in a quest now and then (when u gotta train anyway), but at 25+ DF is the place to be, and exp there is pretty good too  this goes for non-supporters ofc...supp-classes or speeders are prolly better off with quests, as their solo-kill-speed is much slower imho for plain xp-gain quests are not AS good as mob-killing (maybe at 1-5, cause most classes are very slow then)...if ou want diversity though, quests make the difference here Genuine Spirit Cabalist since 2002

No, but that's why it's busted - the old quest (which is done in code, so i can't directly edit it) shares an npc name which is alive and kicking in SI. The quest was customized by someone in the past to have the npc in cotswold (it should have been in SI). The real Jenna is in SI and "hooks" the quest

was working before, u could leave it as it was until SI release  oh, btw some1 changed alb starting quests and now u dont get helm for ANY class, each time a mob hit ure head u lose 1/3+ of HPs  It's the thrill of the chase

You miss my point: I didn't change a thing - due to the old quest system the new npc took over without any input from me. The quest itself needs to be redone (which doesn't make sense given that it will wait until SI anyway) |

Any possibility of providing a temporary workaround for this quest so we can just move on to the lvl 15 and 20 quests?

can't be...january and march have 31 days, so feb can't have a 31st...i assume u mean February 30th, 2014?  besides: never ask for when anything will come...the staff said several time, that they won't give any hint on when something will come, because it is doomed to be a false date from the beginning...
