i totally agree that housing changes are needed to prevent lots from beeing blocked forver from inactive players, but i feel that this change is too tough for uthgard circumstances.

and the change is at least way to easy to escape...
repeated appointment with reminder at smartphone should do the trick for most...

that will work for all the possibilities...no measurement can overcome players logging in once every 10 weeks to pay rent for their house...however this will work vs inactive players, that haven't logged in for 6m+ and don't check their emails regularly...

Naa, the house is gone, I can't see it anymore but haven't been here for some month. Maybe it was removed some time earlier and there was no more money in the merchant/lockbox and no other member was online. The price of the lot is astronomical at the moment I can't afford. But since this morning it dropped for 4 platin already.

Your house was repo'd before we added 7 days, but also before this change (so it was not as a result). You had no money on merchant OR lockbox.

27 free Lots in Alb atm. Dont think that so many new players will buy a house here. But ok, thought there were more free lots.

Btw. are all Regions in housing implementet? For a while there were still some regions missing.

Alb has 200+ more than hib and mid (each). Hib has about 150 more than mid.

Still, we've got more than 1200 lots per realm implemented...its not a question of supply, its a lack of market controls (imagine a world where no one died from old age)

full ack, but i think there would have been smarter solutions. for example, terminating lots from perma banned players and those who are 2+ years inactive... then see what happend and THEN decide, if further (harder) restrictions are needed.

I don't play Uthgard while on holiday and i think i'm not the only one. If i receive the email during holiday far from any computer, i will see the mail on my phone but won't be able to pay the rent

i second that ...30d prior mail and 7d prior mail sounds fine...there's people having longer vacation and stuff and it would be a shame to lose your house to this just because u didnt check the lockbox right before going on vacation
