Hi,

Since last week my character runs just a little less than the rest do. It looks like I'm encumbered but I'm not.
Is not a conex/lag issue, I've tried reinstalling everything and re-patching, didn't work.

Has anyone heard or had the same problem ? How did ya solve it ?

Running at speed 6 makes my grp looping for me every minute, cause I eventualy lose speed.

Thanks!

bad net connection can cause this. i call it speed 6 lag. if all your group members stay on speed 5 while you sprint you'll keep up. old trick from live that works here.

Thanks for your quick answer Rajnish, doubt it's a net problem but I'll test in-deep tomorrow

okay is ur computer fully updated?
.net and so on (like the description on the "How to connect" page?)
do you encounter any lags while playing or is it really "my char is slower than others"?

Some computers(with multi-cores) have problems when a program is running on several cores.
Try to force DAoC to work only on one CPU.

->Taskmanager->rightclick game.dll-> belonging/affliction to-> chose 1 CPU.

Hi,

i had this problem too some weeks ago. This was not a lag problem. It came with patching my client to 1.113... seems something was gone wrong with this patching. I solved it by setting up a fully new and clean installation of DaoC and DaoC-Portal.

this is exactly the issue.

you can delete patch.myp (or something named similar) and run camelot.exe to patch to live levels, then run portal to use the uthgard downgrade process to put you back on 1.113.
should be fine then.
