Hi, all hope someone can help, I've followed all the steps from the website, installed and updated the client and dl'd the portal, when I start the portal for the first time it updated but then only stays open for 5 seconds of so before automatically closing and restarting over and over again, occasionally this stops and an error message comes up saying there is an access error.

I'm running windows 7 which is fully updated from a windows point of view and I'm running the portal as an administrater and in compatability mode xp (sp2)
it is also saying could not dowload server list try again later

I also use win 7 and never used compatibility, dont know if this can help u

be sure you have .net framework 3.5 installed and it's working properly.

windows 7 comes with .net 3.5

also try disabling any antivirus and reinstalling the portal. (something might be preventing it from updating)

Makeing sure he has it installed. Had a guy who did a callgm because he couldn't get daocportal to work on his other computer ended up being he uninstalled .net framework 3.5 from windows feature. ^^
